This was our first time to the Dells. The property was nice, but we didn’t really understand the property layout and the offsite property. At check-in, the staff did quickly go thru their spiel about the property, but we were left none the wiser. In their defense, it’s a lot to cover and they’ve probably said it 100 times. A bit of a heads up about Land of Natura would have been really helpful. Like how quickly it fills up (pure chaos). Facilitating rentals would be a GREAT service to include at check-in or at least give the heads up to get there early or book online. The one day we had planned for Land of Natura was a total bust as there were no rentals left and not a bit of shade. There are almost no places in the room to hang wet stuff, which makes no sense for a water park hotel. There was one small hook in the bathroom where there was no air circulation, so we had to get creative. Room was dated but clean, kids loved the bunk bed. Plumbing wasn’t the best (had to hold toilet handle down until bowl was empty, shower didn’t drain until we took out the stopper completely). Lagoon was great and we enjoyed the pool/sauna on rainy days. We definitely overpaid, but everything in this area was overpriced (food, attractions, etc).

The hotel room was showing its age a little bit. The aquatic attractions all seem to be in very good condition. The lagoon could use some maintenance but was still very fun for the kids.

When I booked with Natura properties, the marketing materials were overwhelming with pictures of amenities, and less clear about arrangements. What I learned through our experience is that the Natura group is a series of properties across the Dells, with access to the amenities. This is all done but I booked for cabins with the Tree House "Resort" expecting resort amenities... but it's a campground. There are 6 bathroom/shower combos serving roughly 60 different cabins, "tree houses" (nothing special), and RV spots. They were dirty when we arrived, and are not close to being enough to meet the most basic needs of the intended number of users. The cabins are Spartan plywood, but so have nice individualized air conditioners. The doors to the cabins are not ADA accessible, with a full stepping off the cabin deck down onto a mound of asphalt. The hazard of getting to in the night to use the outhouse , in the dark, for anyone with aging or disability concerns need to be weighed. Cabins are spaced about 5 feet apart with fire rings between. I don't think there was a postage stamp sized piece of lawn to be found. We were backed to another camp ground with more of the same. The "pool" utilizes clever camera work to look special.. But it's a kid pool, period. The campground is on a primary road, just a couple doors down from a major intersection. There were no quiet hours observed. We checked out in the morning with staff helping us relocate to a different Natura property.

The tree house was nice, clean, was able to sleep my family comfortable. I just feel that they need to clean the bathrooms more frequently seeing that it’s a community share type of thing. But overall i enjoyed my stay.

Bunks were fun!

Room was older and the floor was very noisy. Beds were comfortable and clean. It rained and we didn’t get to make use of the outdoor facilities which looked like great fun.

To start off, I do not write negative reviews often, and even when I have a negative experience, I try to work it out before I post anything like this. We had prepaid for a 2 night stay. My kids were having a blast. Unfortunately while we were at the water park, I got a call from my mom's hospice nurse that her condition had taken a sudden turn for the worse and that we should get there. While my husband packed up the room, I went to the front desk to explain the situation. Knowing we'd prepaid and it was nonrefundable, I asked if they could give us our second night as a credit, so we could come back later this summer. I was told that I "should have let them know before 10:30". I showed the woman the voicemail from my mom's nurse, timed at 2:17, and asked how I could possibly have let them know by 10:30 when I got the call after 2. They told me they couldn't do anything. There was ZERO empathy or sympathy - they didn't even say they were sorry that they couldn't do anything. This was astonishingly poor customer service. They clearly just don't care. If they'd given us credit for our second night, we probably would have come back and stayed 2 nights - giving them even more money. I never would have mentioned this if we had better customer service, but its also worth noting that the pictures of the rooms online are either heavily edited or 20 years old. The rooms are small, dark, and dated. My kids loved the bunk beds though! Needless to say we will not be back.
