Welcome to my lovely home for a fabulous vacation, or a business endeavor . Guests have access to the entire 1-story home with pool and spa, palm trees, an abundance of flowers, fruit trees and unobstructed mountain views in a secluded neighborhood.. Multi colored pool lights at night create an enchanting atmosphere. Kitchen is well stocked with many amenities, spices, coffee, tea etc. Convection oven is perfect for cooking and baking! I welcome up to 5 guests and 3 bedrooms/ 2 baths, office and laundry room. Base price is for 2 guests, any additional guests pay more as displayed on the VRBO website. I'm located in the North West of Las Vegas, close to hwy 95 and interstate 215. There are two shopping centers close by, eateries and fast food, hair dressers, pizzeria and more.. About 10 min on Hwy 95-S is the Centennial shopping center, Cosco just 15 more minutes on 215-East. I’m available if you have questions or need help. You will be swept away when marveling at the sunrise from the backyard or house and the moon by night. Just 15 min. to Mt. Charleston, Red Rock Canyon, golfing about 8 min, 25 min. to the Strip; 60 min. to Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, couple of minutes to Tule Springs Park (Floyd Lamb park), & a few hours to Scott's Castle in Death Valley or Valley of Fire, and a few more. Las Vegas is centrally located to reach an abundance of many tourist destinations and attractions like Grand Canyon, Brice Canyon, Antelope Valley, Monument Valley, Lake Powell just to name a few. I do care about my guests wellbeing as I put myself into their shoes. Their happiness is my number ONE priority.. Many of my guests come back each year to find relaxation, enjoyment or seek new adventures. As a host, I make sure they find that extra little thing they expect. I enjoy being a host to serve my guests for over 10 years. I'd like to offer you too my vacation home with the caveat of a very special fabulous Get-A-Way.

This home was the perfect base for my workation trip. It’s in a great location—close to many stunning hikes and outdoor areas. 30 minute drive to downtown Las Vegas. Inside, the space was quiet, very clean, and beautifully maintained. The host went above and beyond, welcoming me warmly and responding quickly whenever I had a question. I felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout my stay. I’d absolutely book again.

There are A LOT of Rules when you stay here. Clean, but outdated house, with Host's clothes scattered throughout multiple closets. Host is very responsive, since she lives on the property. Am not used to paying a cleaning Fee AND having to partially clean the house as well on departure. Our experience was very similar to the VRBO commercial with Coach Saban.

We met the host on site. She did a really nice job showing us around the property, showed us how to control the temperature, and how to use the main TV system. Exit/entry was easy. Nice views from front and rear of the property. Everything was clean. Sitting by the pool was enjoyable. My wife said the house was the type of place she could see herself living in when we are ready to retire. We very much enjoyed it. Restaurants, grocery, gas, and highway were all very close. The area is so much nicer than being in the city.

Overall, everything was good. Sigrid was very welcoming. I wasn’t sure how I would like her staying in the mother-in-law suite right next to me, but she didn’t bother us at all. The only issue I have is I like it really cold at night and I would set the air conditioner and would wake up several times a night because I Was hot and it would be turned up automatically. That’s my only complaint but at the same time I never went to Sigrid about this she might have been able to fix the problem, but I didn’t want to cause her any issue. She was a good host.

Wonderful experience! This was exactly what we were looking for. The house is in a perfect location to rest and relax and when ready, we Ubered down to the strip to explore and experience the Vegas nightlife. I’m not sure about the negative comments others posted about the host. My experience was nothing but positive. Her wanting to meet you prior to your stay isn’t something new for me as I’ve had several others want to do the same. Next time I’m in Vegas, I’ll definitely be checking to see if this property is available.

The property is beautiful. Sigrid was a great host. I do wish we would of known that she lives on the property in a mother-in-law suite next door. However she did not bother us, and it was my fault for not reading the reviews, I just wish we would of known before hand. Also, if you have other guest with you, the master bedroom has no privacy. Huge glass doors entry way, with no type of privacy. Be prepared for no shoes inside (which is no problem) and you no rolling suitcases across the floor.

House was quite lovely. Open design w a lot of natural light! Beds were comfortable as well as the furniture. House had everything we needed. Outside areas were adequately furnished for the four of us. The view from the pool area was quite beautiful! We were there in October (winter months) so we had to pay a little extra to heat up the hot tub, but it was nice to have and use. My wife enjoyed it! This was communicated by Sigrid, our property owner, and it worked out fine. She also was excellent w her communications w me. She also demonstrated some flexibility w our checkin and checkout times, which was greatly appreciated. The welcome basket of pastries was a nice touch. Master bedroom was spacious w a large bathroom w a soaking tub! All bedrooms had nice closet space. The property owner, Sigrid, was very pleasant and kind and proved quite responsive to our needs!

My 6th stay and my 6th review to say how relaxing and enjoyable it is to stay at this comfortable, beautiful VRBO. It never fails to please. There is every comfort of home: a kitchen with all the utensils, pots, pans, appliances you might need. Or if you don't want to spend any time in the kitchen there are excellent restaurants of all kinds within a mile or two away to dine in or have takeout or delivery. The owner is always available by text or phone but offers complete privacy. The house is spacious, with so many places to relax indoors or outdoors in the gardens you never have to leave the house to enjoy your stay. And in fact, besides going out for a couple lunches and dinners, I stayed in and enjoyed just being there as a vacation destination in itself. It’s a private, personal oasis in a desert to enjoy. If you look closely at the plants In the garden you may see the fruit trees: apricots, mangoes, oranges and more. There was an orange tree I saw with many oranges when I was there. And of course so many different kinds of large palm trees — what you would imagine a lush oasis in paradise would have. And flowers: roses, bougainvillea to name some I could identify. I am looking forward to booking again next year.

This review is solely to inform those interested in renting this property. First, there are the house rules. No shoes in the house. We were told when we arrived at the front door to remove our shoes. Next, do not roll your luggage across the floor, carry them into the bedrooms. The thermostat's had to be continuously adjusted as they are the NEST type. The rules on the settings are in the "House rules book" located on the kitchen counter. The pool access steps do not have a handrail nor does the hot tub. I will take the blame for this as I never inquired about it, I just assumed that all inground pools do .Being seniors with some mobility issues, it made the pool and tub inaccessible. The TV in the main bedroom needs to be replaced. Sigrid was aware of this. Workmen were scheduled during the week which was not a big issue with us, may be for others. Sigrid lives on the property, in a detached home next to the garage. Like almost every home in America (except mine) the front door has ring doorbell. Kitchen has all you would need, utensils, pots, pans and even somethings you would not expect, spices, coffees etc. The main bedroom shower is a bit tight , no shelf for bottles. Outdoor photos need an update. The location is great, Smiths supermarket is 5 minutes away as well as take out and dine in places. Overall, just really disappointed with the pool access. Should have asked prior. Sigrid cares about her guest and will ask if everything is well during your stay.

Vegas Wedding Get-Away

This property was a fantastic little getaway from the busy strip. My (now) husband and I booked this property for our Vegas destination wedding and honeymoon. I was drawn in by the pool and hot tub and the open space which I knew would be needed. After booking Sigrid and I spoke on the phone and she was incredibly accommodating for our wedding needs and allowed us to have a couple of family members, and hair and make-up artist come to the property the day before and of our wedding. We also arrived later than the 9 PM check-in and she completely understood and welcomed us with a fresh baked pie while she went over the house rules. During our stay we spent most of our time out and about and the property is located in a great location for traveling to and from the strip and other local attractions. It is quiet but it is bright! I will agree with another reviewer/previous guest that it was during the introduction to the property that we were told that Sigrid lived on-site in a unit that shares the yard, garage, and driveway. I also should have read the details regarding the A/C temps during the day/night on the listing as they are required to be within certain parameters. That being said, Sigrid was incredibly nice (she brought me flowers on my wedding day 3 ) and so was the property.

Pros - The property is (mostly) gorgeous. Sigrid does a fantastic job of maintaing the grounds, and the house is spacious, clean, and comfortable. Cons - Sigrid herself is a nightmare to work with. We agreed at check-in to keep the AC at 72 or above, and we did. But starting the first day we were there, she continuously harassed us by text, off the VRBO system, about how much the AC was costing her. She even started hitting us up for more money - again, off the VRBO system. Several times she remotely raised the temperature, and even went so far as to turn the AC off by remotely switching the system to "ECO". Even after we checked out she continued sending texts - still off the VRBO system - saying we should pay her more money. I had to block her from texting me. The back yard / pool area is listed as "private", and Sigrid said as much when I checked in, but on the second day we were there we came back from dinner to find her snooping around the property.There are also areas of the yard that get little or no maintainance - the spa portion in particular is a mess of crumbling concrete and not very comfortable to be in.

Amazing property!

The property was beautiful, filled with natural light, and had such a peaceful atmosphere—being off the Strip made it a perfect retreat. We especially loved how relaxing it was to take a dip in the pool. However the spa did stop bubbling after about 40 minutes and never really got hot but I’m not sure if that was an us problem or notOne thing to note is that the listing mentioned the property wouldn't be shared with the owner, but we did notice their presence during our stay. It was a bit unexpected since we've used Vrbo multiple times and hadn’t encountered that before. Additionally, when some family stopped by for a short visit, we were told the owner checked in to ensure everything was in order. While we understand wanting to be cautious, it felt a little surprising in the moment.Overall, we had a lovely stay and truly appreciated the space and tranquility the property offered
