There are several smaller airports located around town, including the San Juan Isla Grande, Ponce Mercedita, and Aguadilla Borinquen Airports, and they focus more on local island-hopping flights, which can be a quick and easy way to get around the Caribbean region. In the past, the San Juan International Airport has served as a hub for several airlines, but while served by many lines currently, San Juan flights are no longer considered "hub routes." Airlines serving San Juan International include Air Canada, American Airlines, American Eagle, British Airways, Jet Blue, and United, among many others.

San Juan Weather

Escaping the winter snows is easy if you find low cost San Juan flights. The average temperature in the winter is 83 degrees Fahrenheit, making it a sunny escape from the cold! And it's not much worse in the summer, averaging 85 degrees, although the humidity levels may rise a bit.
