I did not rate service bc Doyle boasts online check in. But i had questions when checking in and I did not know who/where to go for help. Otherwise gorgeous property. Love the rooftop and convience to downtown/belmont.

The property was a very cute boutique style hotel. Loved the lobby and the artwork and style aesthetic. Nice rooftop fire pit setup. Beds were very comfortable. Very quiet stay.

The hotel was minimal staff and self check in/out on line. For an old baby boomer I prefer a fully human staffed facility. Not sure I would have booked the hotel. Luckily I found a human in the lobby who helped me. When we left, the valet was nowhere to be found. Had to walk to the car. Hotel manager was unhappy and told me he would refund the parking cost. Have yet to see that money

Took 3 tries from lobby to 4th floor and back to get a key code that would open my room door. The instructions for entering the key code (every room has a tiny “touch code keypad) were also incorrect. The room was clean, and the maid staff were helpful and sympathetic to the problem of merely entering the room assigned to me. To add insult to injury, on a Friday, a screaming toddler woke me up at 5am, and it wasn’t either of the adjacent rooms - so I’m not sure I could recommend this high-tech hotel in terms of comfort and service. It will probably take some time to work out the kinks - having NO formal front desk to assist guests with problems just exacerbates resolution to almost anything.

The hotel itself was lovely. The rooftop dining/bar was wonderful! Conveniently located. I didn’t like that the parking was in this random lot across the train tracks. Also check in was with a QR code and I had to download my license and take a selfie which I found annoying since there was a human being right there to check me in. Why the lack of human contact. Other than that the hotel was lovely.
