Hot and uncomfortable!, but nice view

The air conditioner did not work in the room and the weather was well in the 80's this weekend and all the icemachine on the floors were broken!! There was no ice. The manager said the man that delivers the ice had not came. After checking out I ran into someone else who was staying on the 3rd floor who said his air-condition did not work either and he was uncomfortable and very miserable all night too. Only thing the manager told us was we weren't getting a refund!!

They came up with charges after I paid on Expedia, like a “late check in”, even though it was 1 pm. The back door did not lock properly and had no key for us to lock it. The room was not clean. The only thing that was clean was the sheets. There was sand all over the room. The beds were terrible. Weird stains all over the walls, maybe blood.

This was my fourth time staying at this motel and it has just gotten worse every year. The TV was not working properly and they did change our room, which was very inconvenient but at least the TV worked. Paint was peeling badly, mold around the vent and the AC did not work at all. The tub had some kind of stain on the floor, the curtain had some spots that almost looked like blood stains. When leaving on Monday morning after 8am there was no one in the office and we had to just slide the key between the double door. No receipt, no one to express our complaints to. This was the last time I will stay here.

The staff was very kind and check-in was very easy. We had very easy access to the beach which was gorgeous in the mornings. The rooms were clean and had enough space for two adults to comfortably stay with a small pet. The water was very warm. It is conveniently located near an abundant amount of very cute shops and restaurants/ bars in the area.
