Country Inn & Suites by Radisson

Clean, modern, good location, great breakfast

Very clean and modern, spacious rooms, comfortable and stylish. Breakfast was one of the best I've ever had at a mid-priced hotel chain...great selection and large, well-laid-out area so you can easily get to things without tripping over everyone else. The coffee was very good, too. It's conveniently located to local dining and shopping, and only a few minutes from the UVA campus. Traffic is pretty congested in the area, but manageable. As others have said, there is a less-than-stellar Days Inn next door, even sharing some parking, and a not-so-great Red Roof Inn behind that. Even so, we didn't experience any issues. Things I would change? Replace feather pillows with foam (or memory foam) but this is personal preference. Put exhaust fans in the restrooms to help prevent steaming up the mirror. Speed up the internet (only 3mbps up/down). Regardless, my wife and I were very pleased with this hotel and would not hesitate to stay here again. Easily recommended.

Nice, Clean, and quiet Hotel.

It is convenient to get to the hotel from the I-581. The staff was friendly and helpful. Check In and Check Out were fairly easy and simple. Will definitely choose to stay again when I come back.
