The property was fine and the room was clean and quiet. When we arrived at 11:00pm the front desk employee was sound asleep and impossible to awaken for over 5 minutes. Very awkward and frustrating.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great - next to cafes and restaurants, and close to UVA. My only complaint was breakfast, which I didn't get to enjoy because of my dairy intolerance - the eggs, by default, came with cheese, and since it's pre-made, no option to have eggs without cheese; I had to go out to eat breakfast every day, which is annoying when it shouldn't be the case. Aside from that, I enjoyed my stay.

Terrible experience!
Probably the worst night of sleep I've ever had at a hotel. To start, there was a party across the hall until after 3am. We couldn't reach anyone at the desk all night. As for our room, the shower pressure was terrible and never got hot- only luke warm. I found two hairs (not our own) in our bed. The air conditioner made a loud screech every time it turned off. The hotel gave no refund for all these terrible issues.

This hotel was excellent in my opinion. For the price paid we could not ask for anything more. The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. We did not eat the breakfast so i cannot comment on that. It smelled good though. Would definitely stay again. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.
