Upon arrival to the hotel, my husband and I were greeted by a very sweet lady! She was very helpful in pointing us to a location of great local restaurants to enjoy our first honeymoon dinner! The room itself was nice. We were on the second floor at the end of the hallway. The bathroom had many design flaws: lack of hooks or shelving to hang wet towels, the shower leaked onto the floor, and the shower door opened at an awkward angle preventing entry to- or from- the bathroom. Breakfast the next morning was pretty horrible. The hotel was clearly short-staffed as they had what appeared to be an 11-year old boy acting as a host (he was quite delightful, however). The dining room wasn't crowded, but did have a good amount of people. Not too big of a crowd for a server to handle. We had paid a little extra to receive a free breakfast that morning. After being seated, we waited about 10-15 minutes for someone to take our order. It took 1-hour to receive our breakfast which only consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, and toast. There was a line out the door of people waiting to be seated. The coffee was horrible. If we were to ever choose this hotel a second time, we would forgo the free breakfast.

The hotel very convenient to the the Downtown Mall and Monticello. Staff was helpful and our room was clean and comfortable. Go for the extra $3 fee for the breakfast! It was excellent and you ordered from the menu. Our only complaint was that our room was in the rear of the hotel and just above the hotel's air conditioning unit, so if traffic noise and the cycling on and off of the air conditioner would bother you, make sure you book a room in the front of the hotel.

Probably the the nicest $100 hotel room I've even stayed in. Check in staff was super nice. Room was ready. No hiccups. Very comfortable. For sure would recommend.

Convenient to town. Nice week-day breakfast otherwise too expensive

Very comfortable stay. Staff was extremely nice and helpful.

Clean, updated, nice gym, restaurant food was really good

An excellent value for the cost. Stayed here the night before the Charlottesville Marathon. It was a wonderful place to stay, clean, nicely updated features, and a quick shot to downtown Charlottesville or Monticello. Definitely recommend!

Significant construction in ground level, reduced access, construction noise during the day. Poorly trained cleaning staff, woke us up at 8:30 am to clean room

Clean rooms, friendly staff. Even with current remodeling we were no disturbed by noise or construction dust. Convenient to I64 and UVA.

We were just there for one night. It was clean Affordable and comfortable.

Location was great... Minutes from UVA grounds for moving our daughter into her dorm

Was comfortable. Room service was good. Asked us to call when done to pick up plates. They were still there in morning. Orders were correct but no salt or pepper delivered. Room was good, not great, average. People nice. Great cookies at check in and any time. Stay because my dog is very welcome.

Folks at the desk were very helpful with questions and directions to an event we were attending. The price was a little higher than we are used to paying for a Holiday Inn. Especially without a free breakfast.

Not a bad place to stay... near everything in Charlottesville.

This was a great motel to stay in Cville. It is not too far from the basketball arena and football stadium.

Very friendly staff and clean cozy room. Only issue is the bathroom had no bath tub.

I had a pretty good stay; the room was quiet and my bed was comfortable. Otherwise it was a fairly standard experience, as one would expect with this kind of hotel.

We enjoyed it very much. The only thing that could have been better was the temperature of the pool. It was very cold--around 74 F. Other than that, we loved it.

Clean and reasonably comfortable. No complaints except that parking was difficult. Large number of utility trucks using multiple spaces each.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights to attend an out-of-state wedding. Location cannot be beat. On-site restaurant. Easy access to major highways. Would highly recommend.
