Room clean, mattress good. equip good working condition. Noise level low. Front desk cordial hostess for my late eve. check-in and next morning.

This was a moderately priced motel that was in very good condition with a very comfortable bed and a good breakfast. Happy to recommend it.

For the price, this hotel is not nearly up to par. Bathrooms need to be redone. The heating/air system as well needs to be upgraded.

Convenient to highways and stores. Staff were very nice and the room was well maintained. The room had the basics and included a free continental breakfast. Good value for travelers and seniors.

Bathroom was too old to use comfortably, looked old and dirty no matter what

Room has bad odor of cigarette smoke and linens smell as if they were washed with those from smoking rooms. Strange room layout.

Conveniently located. Clean room. Comfortable bed. I will stay again when the need arises.

This hotel was perfect for our stay. It was close to the airport since we had an early flight out. It wasn't too far from the Spartan race location but mainly close to the airport. The continental breakfast was just right...I will say the hard boiled eggs were still a little frozen but they were a nice plus to the menu you don't always get eggs for a continental breakfast. I would definitely stay again if I had an early flight out of the airport.

Nice & clean, considering elevated prices with surrounding properties this was a good deal.

Good well kept place. Good location. Acceptable parking. Small lobby/eating area. Serviceable.

Was very enjoyable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and well kept. Would definitely return there again.

Staff not very friendly, breakfast minimal and hotel rates were expensive for the quality. I would exhaust other options before staying here again.

I expected a clean, no-frills room and that's why I got. It's a motel not a hotel so don't expect fancy lotions and room services -- but the beds were comfortable, the room had free wi-fi that worked fine, and the reservation was correct. The location is OK - about 10 mins from the historic downtown. Not a dump at all, just a basic place to stay, all for a cheap price.

We booked a non-smoking room online through an online company at 4pm on Saturday, June 21. We checked in to the hotel at 4:30 only to find out that only smoking was available, even though the add said non smoking. I asked to see the room first before I signed since old, stale smoke is not something I want to sleep in. The room was gross, and that is no exaggeration. Soap and hair in the shower, hair in the toilet, stains and cigarette burns all over the furniture and the toilet didn't flush properly. Needless to say I went back down and asked for a refund (since I was told repeatedly by the clerk that there was not another room available at all). I would have rather slept in my car. She said since it was after 4pm she could not move me to another room or refund me. That I would have to wait to see if she could sell the room for the night and then have the online company refund me the next week. The manager wasn't on duty until Monday (hard to believe since it's a weekend, the busiest time for a hotel) so there was no one to talk to, we would just have to stick it out or lose $90. The room was never replaced for the night so we stayed and left early the next morning when our toilet flooded after trying to flush only toilet paper. There was water everywhere, I go down to the front desk to tell them and the guy in duty said, "oh, do you want a plunger?" No, I don't want a plunger, why would you even offer a guest a plunger?! So wrong. I want house keeping, whom I'm paying for apparently, to clean it up! Not my fault the pluming was a problem from the beginning. From the girl working the front desk trying to scheme people out of money, to being offered a plunger, then my dress goes missing out of the room (I left in a hurry and let it hanging on the coat rack) I call the afternoon yesterday, June 22 when we left and the same girl, from Day 1, told me the maid didn't turn anything in and the current renters of the room didn't have it in the room. She was so unhelpful with everything, including not even having our room cleaned when I told her there was hair and soap in the shower and toilet. I have never in my life stayed at such a dirty hotel with as poor of service as this place. I wouldn't even put my clothes or bags on the furniture, it was so stained and just plain dirty. I don't know how they get away with taking people's money and staying in business. I would like either the online company or the choice hotel to refund the $90, even if I wanted a smoking room, this room was unexceptable on every level.

It stated that it had an indoor and outdoor pool but it did not have either one. It had a fitness room. The room was clean and the breakfast was good.

We stayed for three nights. It was your average, fairly thrifty hotel - clean, sometimes in need of minor repairs, quiet, but not sumptuous by any means - nor did we expect that. Average breakfast, but very friendly and helpful staff, and outstandingly comfortable bed and pillows. Good location, close to everything.

This place is a dump. Our room literally smelled like an airport terminal smoke room. I booked my hotel room MONTHS in advance, and said "smoke-free room preferred". My brother did the same thing... what do we both get? Smoke rooms. What kind of a hotel in this day and age allows smoking in their rooms? Ridiculous. There were also flies in our rooms. Worst 99 dollars ever spent.

The hotel is a motel, it has been rode hard and put away tired and wet. If you are an experienced traveler this hotel is going to not meet your needs. Okay for a quick overnight, shower and cup of coffee.

Booked a non smoking room with King bed, was given smoking room with two double beds. Everything reeked of tobacco. There was beer drinking going on in the corridor in the early morning hours accompanied by loud discussions. When we left in the morning there were empty beer cans, cigaret buts and trash in the corridor. Do not stay with family.

The room was nice and staff was very friendly. Only complaint was that my wife left her jacket in the room when we checked out, and when I called to ask about it I was told that the staff never found it (as of the next day), despite it being a large black jacket on a non-hotel coat hanger on a rack that sits out in the room. So that was a little dubious. So its a decent spot for a cville stay just make sure not to forget anything when you check out.
