Short family stay with two connecting rooms. They gave us more than we expected. Their breakfast buffet was much much more than a continental breakfast, delicious and bountiful! We had first floor rooms which were equipped for handicapped, very much appreciated! Our only wish was that they should have a bench under the portico outside by the outdoor ashtrays for old smokers to sit down. But we appreciated that it is a non-smoking hotel.

I have papers to prove I ordered a smoking room that were verified through computer. The call center verified this upon my questioning about whether they were sure that I had a smoking room. Of course the answer was yes. I tried to check in at night assuming I had a hotel and wouldn't have to look for one. The answer was,"oh NOOO. This is a NONSMOKING hotel.

Our king bed room met our needs for a short anniversary drive about. General condition of the hotel and room clean and comfortable; location easy to navigate north Charlottesville area. Only negative was some pink mildew at bottom of shower curtain. Good breakfast; courteous staff.

We spent one night in each of three hotels on a cross-country move, and this was the last place we stayed. Really nice. Check in was easy (even with pets and a baby), room was comfy, good breakfast, easy location. The most important thing for me, always, is cleanliness. The room was really clean and well-maintained. You can tell that the staff are great and just work hard at what they do. After two nights in hotels that were just not particularly clean, this felt really good.

This was by far the best hotel we stayed in on our drive across the south. It was clean, modern, well-appointed. Breakfast was good and ample and the entire staff was professional and helpful.

suprisingly modern furnishings, and nice breakfast buffet

The hotel was nice, the room a different issue the toilet was so low to the floor like a toddlers seat. I had a double bed room but those beds were really small, the refrigerator didn't really get cold and the prices of the room was ridiculous to be on Charlottesville Va. with false advertisement of an indoor pool

Hotel was very nice, exactly as expected. I was very disappointed with the manager on duty who handled my check in. We were in town for a concert and he advised me there would be no access to parking or a taxi since I had not booked reserved parking at the time I booked my tickets. He painted a picture of doom and gloom with pictures of tow trucks and a difficult time ahead. A desk clerk came to our rescue with secret advise on a special parking space we could use. We were very concerned so we left the hotel several hours early to find the special secret parking space. Upon arrival at the venue there was ample parking with very helpful police officers directing us to a great spot. I believe the helpful desk clerk was trying very hard to help by offering the special parking space as she saw how upset I was. While the hotel was great his actions made for some very upset clients. In fact I shared the no parking news with several other guests who were equally upset. Hopefully they discovered as I did that there was nothing to worry about except the manager on duty. I would actually stay at this hotel again for future events, I just wouldn't let him give me any advice. The only reason for the lower rating was the manager on duty.

Very comfortable and clean room. Very hospitable staff. Restaurants and stores in close vacinity. I would definitely stay here again.

Very convenient location, clean and quiet rooms, great breakfast service and large selection of free coffee/tea Very friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Very NIce, close to a grocery store also. Nice Staff

Was in Charlottesville for a conference and stayed here since the conference venue was booked. Room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I'm allergic to feathers and they were very accommodating. The only amenity I used was the exercise room, but there is an outdoor pool for summer use and a free breakfast for those who want it. Exercise room was small but had two treadmills and a cross training cardio machine - good enough for a travel workout. I would absolutely stay here again.

Will definitely stay here the next time I visit CVille

This hotel is conveniently located, clean and had friendly staff.

This was a fine place to stay with no outstanding or disparaging remarks. The concierge ranged from a gruff check-in host to friendly and enthusiastic at the end of our visit. We requested a room with refridge and got one with no fuss or cost. Free newspaper and relaxing pool. No hot tub. Continental breakfast was very good with healthy choices like Kashi cereal and fresh fruit. Even though the hours were 6 am - 10 am we were able to come down at 5:45 am for our last breakfast there.

Bugs! Bugs! Bugs! I killed at least 4 BIG bugs while I was there and I only stayed 2 nights. I also came home with a number of bug bites in weird places on my body so I'm not sure if they were actually in the bed. Also my toilet would NOT flush. When I called the front desk to have it fixed a very nice lady came up and messed with the chaing then actually told me if it broke again to reach my hand in the toilet and mess with the chain!! Riiiiiiiiight. I ended up having to call to have it fixed 2 more times. The front desk staff was very pleasent.

Very friendly and helpful staff. First room smelled smoky, but front desk quickly found me a new room when I complained. Short easy drive to the university and downtown. Free breakfast was decent and included healthy options like cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, and fruit.

Clean, fresh, with a GREAT breakfast. Rooms were large and well equipted for busines and relaxation. I will stay here on my next trip to Charlottsville.

Staff was friendly. Hotel was clean. Nice continental breakfast. My only complaint is they run a $20 charge on your card to cover "incidentals". This was not explained at check-in. The money will not be returned until 2-3 weeks after you check-out.

pleasant check-in, although we had asked for 2 rooms, each with a king bed on the same floor, and they couldn't do that

Dear Guest, We regret that your stay fell below expectations. We will search online to see if we can find any reference to us having an indoor pool, as we constantly monitor third party sites to ensure they are providing accurate information about our hotel. Thank you for letting us know.
