The Graduate has all the standard amenities: comfortable furniture, a good shower, coffee, good wireless, etc. I do have a few quibbles, but the staff worked them all out. For instance, though there was a mention of a business center, when I asked for a place to print a boarding pass, I was met with uncertainty, but in the end the person at the desk printed it from her computer (which was very slow). The hotel, like most, had a sign in the bathroom about going green, asking those who didn't need the towels changed to hang them up and hang a tassel on the outer door, in exchange for a credit that could be used at the coffee shop. When I asked, I was told that the corporate office supplied the signs but not the tassels, but that the system would work anyway. As usually happens at most hotels, however, the towels were changed--which is the sign of a responsible staff but not what someone who truly would rather be green prefers. And I did get the credit--I think. Again, these are quibbles about small systemic issues that were easily fixed by staff on the spot, which further shows the quality of that staff. I had a good stay and would gladly return if I again have business at UVA.

Convenient location. Friendly staff. This is my second time and I'll go back

Pleasant, helpful staff. Convenient location. Clean, comfortable room. The only disappointment was that the toilet handle was broken and couldn't flush, I told the staff about the toilet when I checked out. They apologized, said they would have had it taken care of immediately had I called and thanked me for letting them know.

Without disclosure of mandatory parking fee customers really don't get the full weight of the hotel cost. Bad business practice to make it mandatory.

having the roof top restaurant was a nice touch. Appreciated the quirky decorating style throughout the hotel.

Excellent stay, the bed was pretty firm, and the shower door didn't want to close.... other than that we were very comfortable!

The graduate is the perfect hotel if you're looking for something a little different but without sacrificing comfort. Location is amazing and right in the center of it all. The rooftop bar was perfect! Heather makes the best old fashioned I've ever had! Great place!

Nice rooftop restaurant and bar. There was a very good game room and bikes to ride around town if wanted. Right across from campus.

My family enjoyed our stay immensely. Proximity to all things UVa was excellent!

This is a newer hotel in Charlottesville in the heart of The Corner with easy walkability to the UVa Hospital and the Grounds of UVa. The rooms are nice, big and clean and the staff is helpful. There is a quaint coffee shop in the downstairs lobby with great coffee and fixins. Emma was wonderful in the coffee shop.

This was my fourth stay at this hotel...so it's obvious that it's perfect location is so convenient for all purposes of stay in the University Town.

Bad. Loud construction work as early as 7am. They said it would start at 9 & it wouldn't be noisy. Bathroom towels were not as clean, hair was tangled in clean towels. No air filter in bathrooms horrible.
