We had requested a second floor or lower room three times before our arrival and when we got there, we will put on the fifth floor. The parking situation was two blocks from the hotel and not secure. The hotel was in much need of repairs and an upgrade.

We paid for a mini sweet with a balcony, with full view of the ocean. What we got was a beautiful view of the hotel’s air conditions that were even with our balcony. When we complained a wanted our room changed since we were going to be there all week they made excuses to why the wouldn’t move us! We were very disappointed to say the least

Front staff was very nice and helpful. The on site parking is very linured - maybe 10 spaces. The main parking lot is a block away, which was a quick walk. Upon arrival, pull up, unload then park. The restaurant was short staffed (it was 9:30pm) but since it was open till 1:30am (per the site), had hoped for a fast appetizer and drink. We walked elsewhere. Had wanted the ease of using on site restaurant on arrival night. Not a deal breaker but worth mentioning as we were very tired from traveling.

Surfbreak staff were very nice and accommodating. The bed was comfortable, and the coffee station downstairs is a nice touch. Also, the view of the ocean was wonderful, and the restaurants and shops are very close. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend this property.

Very nice property but make sure not to over look the heating and cooling on the 3rd floor, 316. Blocks beach partially and cannot sit on deck, area not clean.

Absolutely amazing place to stay! Staff was friendly and quick with checking in and out. Access points immediately to beach and pool, the restaurant attached, and elevators. Room was exactly as pictured, and the view was the best part! We did eat at the Calypso and they had the perfect food for on the beach with a view! All the beachy gift shops were right across the street with plenty of good food options around. We barely left the area there was so much just around our hotel. They had already mentioned that parking was limited so it was expected to park a little bit away. They had loading areas that made that a non issue. After reading some of the reviews i was a little nervous but there were zero worries as soon as we stepped foot inside. We will return very soon!

No Frills Hotel with Great Views

Hot on 8th floor as no AC working in hallways. Hotel has been renovated but lacks a luxury feel for the price of the room per night. No frills hotel but great views of ocean.

Very slow check-in. Staff members were alright. Beds were very comfortable. I don't know that I'd go out of my way to stay there again, but I wouldn't actively avoid it either Average. Nothing spectacular, nothing awful.
