We opted for room 7 and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. It’s on the second floor and is in a circle pplop out with a view of the oool and full windows of natural light. The bed is the showcase. A poster bed on a pedestal with flowing surrounding curtains. Loved it. Important to note this hotel has no elevator and is a virtually staff free hotel. You’ll get a code to enter, save it as it’s the same code for door to the suite. No staff on site till breakfast. Breakfast starts 730 and was good. Started the morning treading in the pool and ended in the hammock. Will note this location and repeat.

Very exclusive type of stay would love to go back with a bunch of friends and rent it all out!!! Would reccomend staying if you need somewhere close to stay near the airport, or if you have a vehicle and need a base! Food is deliciouwashrooms and bedroom are clean and nice wifi works!! Owners know what theyre doing!

Nice room and very nice property. One thing I didn't like was that fact there is no staff on site for the check in. Had to remind them to send me the access code to get into the hotel. Also no key for the room, just an access code. So you had to remember to have the numbers with you all the time. And hope that it continued to work. Restaurant was good. Thankfully they have one, since there is nothing close to this hotel for restaurants or things to do. Good place to stay for 1 night before going to the airport the next day. And to get there use Uber- it was $145 pesos. Because Uber is not allowed at the airport I had to take a taxi to the hotel. Initially they wanted $1100 pesos. I refused, after much discussion, they finally took $600 pesos. After settling into my room, discovered TV wasn't working. Technician showed up looked at it and walked away. Never came back or got it working. Contacted management and requested a small deduction on the rental fee. Offered to give me another room. Since I was already settled in, I declined. Which wouldn't have mattered anyway, as the wifi stopped working.

Villa Palmeras is an exceptionally beautiful property. The auto-check-in was completely straightforward and convenient. We arrived early and were able to wait comfortably until our room was ready. The dinner at the restaurant was absolutely excellent and very well priced. Our server (didn’t get his name) was fantastic! I gave 2 stars for the area because it is located down a rough road with nothing nearby. We booked our stay here because we have an early flight, and Villa Palmeras exceeded our expectations. Please note however, the transportation to the airport is 450 pesos.

I do not recommend anyone from Canada or the US stay here. It was extremely difficult to find our taxi driver, and it was a very unsafe and scary neighborhood. There is one "restaurant" on the facility and nothing else nearby - not that you would want to leave the grounds. Although yes, it was clean, the bed was very uncomfortable and our door was in front of the common area so there was zero privacy and loud noise until after 10pm. There wasn't even soap in the shower and the toilet didn't flush every time. The only saving grace was the taxi service the next day to the airport was easy to book, on time and affordable. I still can't believe they charged us for the terrible cup of coffee in the morning... all in all - we do not recommend.

It is a lovely boutique hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful gardens. Peaceful pool area. Large clean room. Quiet sitting area. Great food served at onsite restaurant. We booked it last minute because of a cancelled flight. It was 20 minutes from the Cancun airport. Not 9 minutes as shown in the Google listing.

I didn't realize this property had no staff on site. I didn't end up staying there as the surrounding area was not the greatest. Access road was almost impassable by car, not to mention it was not easy to find using google maps.

Just one challenge

This is a stunningly beautiful setting! And the instructions for access were very good. Our only hesitation to stay again is because there’s no one on staff and available. Someone was having an intense and very loud encounter for almost an hour at 4 am and we had no recourse available to deal with it.

There wasn't any amenities around the area and we were not sure if the neighborhood was safe so felt like we couldn't leave the property. Was ok though as the place is like an Oasis in the middle of nowhere and they did have a restaurant and games area and a lovely pool area.

Beautiful property, we stayed here last minute because our flight got canceled and it was fairly close to the airport and got a great deal. It was peaceful and they have a restaurant. There is no where close to walk to for dinner, there is an oxxo about 15-20 minute walk.
