We arrived around 2pm. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a lavender scent cool towels. We went to check in and got a complimentary upgrade. We went to eat and our room was ready. Concierge brought our luggage to the room and gave us information on the technology in our room. The staff wonderful. Always willing to help and go above and beyond! We got our room cleaned everyday and they did a fantastic job! Drinks were amazing snd they were so attentive!

Everything was amazing the only complaints I have are: the shower had a sulfur smell that did not go away even after housewarming cleaned. And the food was not that great. Especially room service. The only decent food was the private dinner we had to pay for.

On our last day of our vacation our room had no running water- got back to our room after a day a the pool to find no water. Went to dinner after reporting the problem, they thought it would be resolved quickly. Late night and then found still no water. By that time didn't have energy to deal with it. Woke up in morning for a long day of travel, STILL no water. Had to travel all day dirty. After the trip Breathless customer service said they would compensate for the night - but when Expedia tried to contact Breathless did not give any compensation. Terrible! And BTW, the Xcelerate pool was freezing! Couldnt stay in it with 80* weather. Beach is not soft sand and it is a public beach for locals. I won't be back.

Staff great very helpful and friendly. Problem was the noise level, it was initially tolerable but the staff continued to increase the volume until you had to scream to hear the person next to you. We left two restaurants because of the excessive noise.

My boyfriend took me on our first Valentine's trip to Breathless in Cancun, Mexico. This was a beautiful resort, loved the room, the pool, the view, the restaurants, and they had the best Valentine's dinner set up for all the guests. They went all out. The Valentine's party was awesome. It was a GREAT vibe. So far, Breathless has been my favorite resort.

Our group’s experience at this resort was deeply disappointing and fell far below expectations. From the start, we were informed that we could not watch the Super Bowl by the pool unless we paid for an “upcharge” table. With a group of 17, we were also told that all restaurants and the sports bar would be closed, leaving the only alternative to watch from our balconies. Under these circumstances, we felt pressured into paying $1,700 USD for a table to view the game and support our Seattle Seahawks.Adding to the frustration, we later discovered the hotel had not sold enough of these “required” seats, and many resort guests who had not paid the fee were freely occupying the same area we were told could only be accessed through payment. This was misleading and left our group feeling exploited by the resort’s policies.Restaurant service throughout our stay was equally disappointing. While the staff members were consistently pleasant and hardworking, operations were slow, disorganized, and poorly managed. Our group was forced to wait over two hours to be seated because all members had to be present to check in, and then often another two hours before receiving food. With no ability to make reservations, dining as a group became untenable.At nearly every turn, there seemed to be another upcharge or an inflexible “no” to reasonable requests. While our rooms were clean and the employees courteous, the resort’s policies and management decisions made our stay less than par.

We had a great stay at Breathless Cancun Soul. The property is beautiful, modern, and very well maintained, and the staff was amazing throughout our visit. They did present a promotion at check-in, but once we declined, they didn’t push it further, which we appreciated. The beach is smaller than some others in Cancun, but it’s clean and well kept. While it’s not my absolute favorite all-inclusive in the area, it’s definitely near the top of my list for a return stay.

We choose this resort due to it's high number of raving reviews and the "party vibe". However, our stay was nothing at all like that. The room was fine and housekeeping was good. However, there was a leak on our porch that kept the chairs wet for the duration of the stay. Food was sub par. First of all, no food available between 4 and 6 pm except the small coffee shop that only had cake and coffee. There was no buffet at night except for Saturday pm, so you were forced to eat at one of 4 restaurants, one you had to pay extra for. The Fish Nets restaurant is a steak house, not fish (although the steak was very good). The Italian restaurant was great. The Habachi was a great show, but the food was so salty it was not edible. There were NO pool activities. Granted, it was a colder week for Cancun, but people were sitting by the pool. Activities were listed on the schedule, but were not done. There wasn't even any lively music playing. It was exceptionally boring here. Evening shows were bland. We felt a pressure to buy things... multiple display tables selling liquor and preferential treatment given to those guests walking around with $1 bills to tip. And the Utlimate Vacation Club sales pitch was simply annoying. The massage I got was very good. Overall, the stay was just not great. We would not return to any Hyatt property in Cancun as a result of this experience.

When you first arrive, the staff is trying to upsell you on all this stuff you don’t want or need. It’s annoying to deal with after a day of travel. Then not to mention, our room wasn’t ready on time. The hotel is in a beautiful location with decent food, but we wouldn’t stay here again.
