My most pleasant experience at the Club Wyndham Skyline Tower was my check in. I arrived before noon, after flying into Philadelphia on a red eye, taking the NJ Transit train to the AC station, then having to walk with my luggage nearly a mile from the stop that the AC Jitney driver dropped me off at (near the Absecon Lighthouse) While I was aware that I might not get an early check, Veronica at the front desk was able to do so. During the check in process, Veronica was completely helpful, friendly, courteous and hospitable and this check in was one of the best I've ever experienced as a nationally known travel writer. The one issue I was aware of before my arrival was the number of complaints regarding the elevators. However, during my stay, did not experience any significant delay or trouble whatsoever. My room was quite spacious as expected but the furniture, carpeting and kitchen do seem a bit outdated. That's not to mention the dining (?) table that was very wobbly and seemed on the verge of collapsing. All in all, my stay was comfortable enough and I slept well, although I didn't get to visit the pool or fitness area due to the possibility of an elevator delay. The worst part was having to walk that long distance from near the lighthouse to the Wyndham - although that is not Wyndham's fault. So, if I were to stay there again and arriving at the train station, I'd take a taxi or rideshare to the property. That's what I did on the trip back to the station.
