Nice clean place to stay with lots of room. (And reasonably priced.) Kneaders is just a quick walk away for breakfast, lunch or a quick decadent snack. Angry Crab shares the parking lot where a lot of great options for dining or drinks (and happy hour) is also available.
It’s a bargain for the money it’s always been nice and clean. I’ve stayed here quite a few times. The last to the pool has been closed both times than that. It’s a pretty nice place. I don’t think I’ll stay here again because I don’t want to take on the chance of the pool being closed again.
When I check in I told him The light at sign doesn’t work so when you drive on the freeway you can find it I told the desk , the carpet is smell because of old building maybe , I need to wash my hair but the hair dryer doesn’t work oh well they need to change a new management I believe and a lot of improvement
Shilo is very convenient to shopping and the freeway. There are plenty of dining options nearby. However, Shilo used to be on less expensive side and now is higher and they do not provide breakfast any longer. The rooms are old/outdated. The bathrooms are tired. On this particular occasion the toilet wouldn't flush properly. For the amount they are charging now you would think they would undergo a renovation - update the rooms, fix the "soggy/squishy" flooring and get a more modern feel - include more USB connections etc...
Super friendly staff. Decent place.
Restaurant next door was a plus.
Near the outdoor mall and restaurants
Needs updating, old carpet, bathroom old, the sink drained very slowly, the security bar on door was missing and tv was grainy to watch. With that said it was clean the bed was comfortable and sheets very soft. Maybe they are slowly updating. The ice machine on 3rd floor wasnt working so husband went to 2nd floor and said it was much nicer.
I have no idea why this has an average rating of 4 stars. This place is a dump. It looks like it was built in the 60s and never updated, do not trust the pics. Wallpaper peeling throughout the room, cracked tiles in the bathroom, old musty smelling carpet throughout the room, and NOT a king bed like advertised (queen only.)
I actually didn’t even get to stay because I realized upon check in that the pool was green! Luckily the female at the front desk was very accommodating and let me cancel my reservation because the entire reason for our stay was to hang by the pool. This seems to be a continuous problem at Shilo and it is very disappointing because we love Shiloh’s pool, when it doesn’t look like swamp water.
Friendly staff, hotel very dated but the beds we’re comfortable and clean. For the price it was good for a one night stay
Over all great experience and quiet, clean rooms.
Always a pleasure. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I only wish the parking lot was bigger and brighter at night. I love staying at Shilo
Upon checking were told there were only single bed options. I had booked a double bed months in advance. After being told a manager didn’t come on until 10pm one magically appeared. They ended up giving us a ‘suite’ with 2 beds. Thankfully for the same price. In this suite the toilet barely flushed, the screen on the slider door always propped up outside on the balcony and we couldn’t give our daughter a bath because the pull function on the faucet was unable to go down. After taking a shower you had to wait ten minutes for the water to drain. The room was clean and tidy. Parking was easy right by one of the entrances.
