It was clean and the staff was courteous. The free continental breakfast was great.
I enjoyed my room. I got a King bed all to myself. It was clean and great for me. There was a refrigerator in the room and hot water and fresh clean towels. It was great. Not a new place with everything new, but a wonderful place for me and my budget. I was told they serve breakfast at 7 but I wanted to be at Yosemite by 7, so I stopped by the breakfast area at 6:15. A man already ate there and the woman staffing the breakfast area invited me to have breakfast. She was wonderful, cheery, warm, caring about people. Then the front desk person walked in and said in a not pleasant tone that breakfast is served at 7. Luckily she left and the other, friendly lady came back out and asked if I wanted her to warm me a waffle. It was a stark contrast of warm, friendly, and inviting to cold and unfriendly and unwelcoming. Overall, a great stay. That breakfast lady should be promoted.
It was a decent place, somewhere to sleep but it was old. The water pressure in the shower was non existent and we had to lift the door to the room a little just to lock it. Didn’t even have an extra roll of toilet paper in the room I had to ask for one. The staff was very nice but I would not stay there again.
I have no idea what stars aligned to enable me to find this diamond in the rough. I stayed in a Marriott property last night and spent $$$ more. I love Marriott, and have as a business customer of the last 30 years, but somehow the people who manage and provide service at this facility nailed it. Value and putting people in the right places are critical to business and customer success.
A decent/good hotel in Oakhurst. Close to most restaurants. Good for friends and families with kids. Free breakfast (make your own waffle, cereal, boiled egg, scrambled eggs, yougurt, fruits, juices, hot coffee/tea and more… Just one issue is where they over charged from my initial booking. But Orbitz supported me later with refund. Rest is all ok.

We enjoyed the excellent breakfast. We appreciated the warm and friendly staff. Our room was warm and comfortable too.
Excellent location, and staff are very nice. Very good rooms plus breakfast. Will stay there again next time to Yosemite.
