Nice room clean

This place is dated and dirty and looks nothing like the online photos. Of course, one stays at the Red Roof in order to budget so you get what you pay for, however, this is the by far, the WORST Red Roof property I have ever visited.

Room had no life to it.

Needs updating & cleaning........................…

Good location. A bit pricey for the value as a business stay. This is a center for things like weddings, a business conference, ... It is a little isolated with no restaurants nearby. The equipment in the extremely limited fitness center was broken, for appearances only. There was no closet or place to hang up clothes in the room.

Property is being completely renovated. Lobby and dining areas are covered in sheets of plastic and construction materials. Room itself was OK but unimpressive but the overall facility was shoddy and downtrodden And should not be open to paying guests during the renovation. Described on orbitz as “historical district” but it is actually adjacent to a major interstate highway.

The rooms aren't clean and the housekeepers left my dishes from breakfast in the room instead of trashing them -- even though they were empty. The coffeemaker in my room was missing parts, so it was unusable and the packet of condiments (ie. cream, sugar, stirrers) was open and missing elements. The promised WIFI wasn't available. The breakfast was minimal and, by 9 am on Sun, there was virtually nothing left except cold cereal and a clogged container of pancake mix that took minutes to fill a cup for the waffle maker. I was locked out of my room almost every time and had to go to the desk multiple times after each lockout before they correctly keyed my card to allow entry. The front desk was rude, like it was my fault I was locked out of my room.

Our toilet did not flush ...we called front desk & nobody came to fix the problem. It finally flushed the next morning after all night of putting toilet paper in the trash can & trying to flush...it looked like it might overflow several times. We told the front desk at check out and they were very apologetic. We also found in the drawer with the Bible & phone book that someone had left a hair piece...when we first opened the drawer we only had one lamp on so it was a little dark.. We thought the hair was a rodent. We also reported this the next morning...they really apologized and said they would contact somebody to do something to make up for the 2 problems. I have not heard back as of today...6/25/19. This was a last minute reservation in an area we were visiting...Winterthur, Delaware and was about 8 miles from our destination and since our accomodations had been so nice the previous night we figured we would be in a similar area but we were wrong.

Ladies room had one sink, one toilet not working and no paper towels.

This hotel was barely useable I wouldn’t return under any circumstances

Staff was friendly at check in. A maintenance guy walked into my room perhaps 10 mins after I was in it. I am not sure who looked more surprised, me or him. Maybe he was gonna take a little nap :) Anyways he apologized and I said no problem. Luckily I hadn't gotten around to changing yet. The foyer was very nice. The halls and rooms looked a little outdated in design but it was still a nice room. My room didn't have a view (Well it had a view of a brick wall) but it didn't matter as I was not there for the view. It was quiet at night and the staff at checkout were also very friendly. I would def stay there again

The property is older. Our room was clean and freshly redone. Breakfast was good and hot. Well done

TV service is HORRIBLE. Channels come and go....some time you can watch what you want, most of the time is just fuzzy static. Rooms are dated, barely clean. Bath towels are thin, old. Water pressure in sink is just a dribble. Breakfast is minimal, very minimal. ALL staff are slow and seem tired and "fed up" always have a frown on their face. ONLY good thing is the cheap nightly rate.

Great hotel for the price. I have never seen a fee for having a safe in the room before but it wasn't high. I would suggest that if you take advantage of the free breakfast that you get there early or you won't eat. One complaint i have is the information in the room says you get 15% off the restaurant if you show your room key but the restaurant wouldn't honor it.

Nice room with refrigerator and microwave, pet friendly, and staff was great!

Beautiful hotel concierge Bobby was fantastic. He was very helpful and elegant

WE APOLOGIZE THAT YOU WERE NOT INFORMED OF THE RENOVATIONS PRIOR TO YOU MAKING YOUR RESERVATION. MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO UPDATE THE WEBSITES REGARDING OUR LOCATION TO OLD NEW CASTLE ( HISTORICAL AREA) WE ARE ABOUT 10 MINUTES AWAY
