Comfortable and clean, some of the property and surrounding area is under renovation/construction.

We felt very comfortable as we were women traveling alone The rooom worked out perfectly for us The front desk staff were extremely personable and courteous.

This hotel was just ok. Room itself was clean but dated. Beds were comfortable and shower pressure was good. It also was nice having a patio looking at the harbor. The walls were VERY thin. We were on the second floor and we could hear the side rooms as well as the people above us. They weren’t particularly loud people, just their regular movements could be heard from our room. The hotel is dated. Hot tub was nice but there was a gal in there who appeared to live in the area and may have snuck in. There was also a homeless man sleeping in the lobby area when we checked out. Overall, we didn’t feel unsafe and we had a good night’s rest. Just probably isn’t the best choice in this area. There is a Holiday Inn right next door that appeared cleaner and more updated

Very comfortable beds. We asked for a room with a view, and had a slight view of the harbor. But we were right over the trash truck so that woke us up in the morning.

First off, the staff was great. Period. No issues at all with them or the hotels cleanliness. The staff actually goes out of their way to make the hotel stay as good as it can be. But to be frank, the hotel needs to be demolished and rebuilt. Its just a very poorly constructed building. I could hear the person above me get out of bed. I joke that if the person was reading, I could probably hear the pages turn. Further, the TV was way too dim, and the controls had no way to increase the brightness. The most disturbing thing are the floors. The floor on the outdoor patio is warped and buckles as you walk across it. If this type of flooring was used inside, it explains the noise. It all must have been constructed with plywood, and the weather is winning the war.

we enjoyed our stay 2 nights. Clean facility. Met up with family in the lobby/bar area in the evening one night and it was a nice place to visit. Cookies/apples/milk shakes in the lobby in the afternoon was nice. Paid 12/day for parking in their lot - I guess that's what hotels do these days - but the daily price should include it I think.

Very client friendlly Front Desk Supervisor, attended to room change request kindly and professionally

Overall ok. Does not exceed expectation. Nothing outstanding about the premises. Room ok ( though could smell sewer gas in bathroom) grounds ok. Charging $12 / night for parking is a rip off. Close to the harbor is the biggest asset.

This hotel was clean, convenient and the staff were friendly. The room was spacious and the beds were sooo comfortable. The pool is heated and hot tub atrium was warm, but not stuffy on a windy day. The restaurant staff were nice, but the menu left a little to be desired and was overpriced for the quality. There was also a sign that kids under 5 eat free, but our 2 year old did not.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The area was quiet and beautiful. They also have security at night which was nice to see.

Clean hotel. Close to island ferrys and ideal if you are heading out to the channel islands.

ALL WELL, WOULD RECCOMMEND FOR COUPLES AND FAMILIES

Downside - wall A.C. versus central air. Sit down breakfast was very good, included in room price

The hotel was all right but it did not look like the pictures from their website. The Jacuzzi was down until August, which was disappointing. Rooms were clean and the hotel was very close to Harbor Village and a really good beach

Young ladies needed safety, comfort and kindness (north of morning L.A. traffic) -- this place was perfect.

Very helpful staff. The restaurant staff were very cheerful and accommodating in providing what we requested even if it wasn't exactly as described on the menu. Location was easy to reach from 101 and close to the harbor.

Carpets were absolutely filthy and desperately need to be replaced. Looked at 2 other rooms in disbelief and they were all the same quality. Zero bathroom counter space. The people walking around upstairs sounds like the ceiling is going to collapse.
