It was the perfect getaway spot-- beautiful, charming, comfortable, and with very friendly staff. We had a downstairs "ofuro" room, and soaking in the Japanese tub on our private patio was exactly what was needed after a day of kayaking on the lake. We had a delicious dinner at the attached Blue Wing Saloon, enjoying a leisurely meal on the veranda with some live music. While we only were there for one night, we could not have asked for a better experience.

Thank you so much for your kind comments. We're glad you enjoyed the room with the Japanese soaking tub. We also have a pool and a jacuzzi available for all guests. Kayaking on Clear Lake is wonderful this time of year. All kinds of wildlife abound: grebes, great blue herons, egrets and sometimes the elusive bald eagle. There are two companies nearby that rent kayaks. We hope to see you again.
