Hilton Garden Inn-Springfield, MA

Nice, close to downtown Springfield and very close to the basketball hall of fame.

The hotel is clean, modern and surprisingly quiet. We stayed on a Friday night. Uno's next door had a band that played outdoors till 10. We were not bothered by the band, Interstate 91 or the nearby trains. It is nice that Pizzeria Uno is connected directly to the hotel. It creates a great food and beverage option.

Hilton Garden Inn is a very nice and well maintained property with great access to Springfield and West Springfield. Rooms are good size and very clean . Breakfast is very good , but can get busy . Overall a very nice stay ! DB

Great location. Hotel had discount tickets to 6 flags. Easy to park and very accommodating. Will stay there again.

Overall I give 4.5/5 stars because the hotel was located in a weird location on a one way street which was inconvenient but as for the hotel itself it was nice, clean and affordable

The stay started badly ... Only one bed in room... Not Hiltons fault .... and the place was booked.... my companion was ill and we were not sharing a bed in any regard anyway. Some irritation but front desk staff and Manager and we worked it out and while we just had the one bed other options with decent roll in bed was accomplished. It was a positive experience. Good people overcome difficult events.

Stay here every time I travel to Springfield. Nice hotel with great location - right off highway. Staff is VERY friendly and accommodating. Shout out to Victor and Sabrina for their warmth and friendliness.

I wasn't able to sleep when I stayed in this hotel. The room we were given, the AC didn't go any colder than 69°F, and it would auto switch itself to low fan then turn off on top of that (the main unit was controlled by the wall, so there was no adjustments). I was desperate and at 4am took a shower just to cool down, but when I took a towel to dry myself off, I was covered in lint! I ran my hand across my arm and I looked like I was shedding! And there was a crater on one side of the bed - which apparently was adjustable but we weren't told about this - since there was apparently supposed to be a notice on the bed about the adjustable firmness, but there wasn't one on our bed. So on top of the AC and towels, the bed turned out to be very uncomfortable to sleep in. But you can't beat the location.

The hotel shared a parking lot with the basketball hall of fame, which was a huge plus! Close to downtown, restaurants and nightlife. Room was clean, quiet for the most part except for some young guests in the hallways. Will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Springfield!

This hotel was located within walking distance to some nice bars and restaurants.

Everything was great at this hotel. Everything was clean & the staff was very friendly. The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast that was out in the am. No where near the food did it indicate that there would be a charge for breakfast. I thought it was free until we sat down at the table where we found out we had to pay $12 per person. That was a little steep for the semi warm breakfast we ate. If we had known there was a charge we would have gone to another place to order a hot cooked breakfast. It was definitely pricey for breakfast!

Although the staff was friendly, this hotel lacks proper management. Things seem messy and unorganized. Dining room, front desk area and hallways are dirty. We did not have our rooms cleaned and no fresh towels provided, even though we specifically asked for it. Overall, this hotel does not deserve to have any kind of association with Hilton. It's a disappointment for the price you pay. You will have most likely have similar experience staying at a cheap hotel for half the price.

Unfortunately loud hvac in the room. We enjoyed the convenience to the Hall of Fame and excellent restaurants on the H o F campus

It's a converted Hilton, so expect a nice Ramada when you go. The staff was courteous and professional. Its location is great if you are in town to see the Basketball Hall of Fame or visit Springfield College. The hotel had a damper feeling overall, weird smells throughout (harsh cleaning chemicals?), but that may be due to the depressed city of Springfield surrounding it. Only major issue we had was the bathtub kept backing up and had to be drained all three days we were there, and the water pressure was low. Compared to the Marriot in town, this has free parking and free wifi, which is a plus.

Couldn't have picked a better location for our trip. Basketball Hall of Fame and the gym was close.
