Our cabin was lovely; quiet, well appointed and secluded. The town is small and off the beaten track so location is best for those seeking solitude. The pool looked nice but was closed for maintenance while we were there. Free wifi was slow and spotty.

Enjoyed short drives to the coast and the redwoods. Found great coffee house and excellent fresh pasta and a campy bar with music and dancing. Close to everything!

We often have late check ins and have a well defined policy in place of how they are handled, as well as a 24-hour phone outside the lobby for any issues that might arise overnight when someone is not here.
