We were guite pleased with our stay, one night was to short. Next time we will plan a longer visit.

Great room with lovely views. Great staff. Beds somewhat hard.

Beautiful area, wonderful Hotel/Lodge, very clean and comfortable. The staff so nice and welcoming. Fantastic service from check in to check out. We ate at the restaurant twice, food was very good.

wouldn't recommend or go back - very high cost and they sold it on their amenities none of which I could use because it was packed with people who brought small kids on vacation, not remotely relaxing experience stayed in a whirlpool room - room itself was simple but nice. Grounds did have great view, small hot tub, fire pits, pool, but was all packed with families and it was very difficult to get time to use any facilities. went on a Wednesday night and was still overcrowded with families and noisy children.

I had a wonderful time there. On our drive there, we passed a lot of cows and the gps said we would be there in 2 minutes but we couldnt believe in all the rangeland it would just pop up, but it did! My boyfriend and I borrowed the hotel bikes and rode to the beach. We got couples massages and used the fireplace in the room. I love this place, there were even hammocks. And the hot tub is amazing, the edge is submerged so that your seat is warmed!!

We recently spent a week at Bodega Bay Lodge, celebrating our 40th anniversary. We were willing to pay more for a special treat, and were very satisfied with the comfortable sccomodations. We'd love to come back again one day!

Several months ago I made a reservation through Orbitz for a deluxe oceanfront room at the Oceanfront Lodge in Crescent City. Upon arrival the manager, Briseida, gave me a room with a parking lot view. When I asked why Briseida said that Orbitz customers are not guaranteed their room choice regardless of how long ago they made their reservation. Briseida was also extremely rude and obnoxious during our conversation. Beware if you stay there- you might get charged for a room you don't get, a floor you didn't want or bed(s) that don't work for your party. Orbitz - you might follow up on this as your service means nothing to them.

If you find yourself planning a last-minute trip to Sonoma county and Bodega Bay, the Bodega Bay Lodge, is a good, dependable property that's well located and cozy. We loved the location and the easy ability to access locations all around the Bay. We had a race up in Salt Point which was about 40 minutes away. Any other place within striking distance was either very basic motels, overpriced lodges, or outdoor camping grounds. The Lodge, with it's classic rustic look and view of the bay, was a lifesaver. Our room was solid, comfortable and clean although not spotless or as luxurious as the photos and descriptions suggested. The service was a bit unpredictable in that some staff were friendly and very professional and other staff seemed like they were so new they really shouldn't have been put in front of customers just yet. This was true across the board, from the reception desk, to restaurant staff to the folks who managed room service. This could be due to high turnover or may just lopsided training. Restaurant hours were awkward with limited service outside of breakfast and dinner. There is a lot of eclectic dining around Bodega Bay so we recommend only eating the the Lodges' restaurant if you get in late and are too tire to find other options.

Celebrated our anniversary and had a wonderful experience. The Duck Club restaurant was delicious. The pool, hot tub and spa were great. It was a very relaxing and romantic spot.

It's just over-priced. I guess you pay for the view which isn't as dramatic as you'd think. The room is good sized but the furniture is all over the place. When sitting in the sofa or chair, you can't see the TV and you can't see the view. Who thought of that arrangement?

Wine tasting every evening at 5pm. Easy mile walk around the lagoon below and to beach access. Staff made the bed for our service dog! :-) Quiet, clean, friendly. Room and restaurants are $$$$.

Beautiful location, beautiful views, nice accomodation.

Very beautiful hotel with awesome view of the bay. Easy walk to Doran beach. Food at their restaurant is very good but pricey. Spa services is average and overpriced.

Went to escape the rat race having been to Bodega Bay previously. If you are looking for a calm beautiful interlude this is the place on the Sonoma coast.... Restaurant was great as are the hiking golf and biking right out the door.

My teenage daughter and I spent time enjoying nature. The hotel clean. The view from balcony was beautiful. The staff was great!

Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean, the bed was very comfortable, and the flat screen TV. was a joy to watch. The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent. We walked on the beach & drove up and down HWY 1. We had a great weekend!!

Pros: Great staff, 1st class accommodations, Beautiful Grounds, very romantic! Cons: a bit tricky to find, shampoo provided in-room is bad enough to mention

Everything was wonderful. The room spacious , clean and staff pleasant

Beautiful coastal location overlooking a bird sanctuary and long wide beach. View the sunset from your room and enjoy a fire in the fireplace.

Great views from a spacious upstairs room.Comp wine and cheese hour nightly. Close by to area wineries ,oyster and chowder spots.Check out the Wild Flour bakery in Bodega for their excellant cinnamon sticky buns and cardamon lattes.
