Great area to relax, gets away from the crowds to enjoy some peace by the ocean
The property was beautiful and peaceful. The walk to the beach was great for exercise and serenity. I didn't like the fact that a couple of children came to the pool and we had to leave. It's a pool in the spa area. The atmosphere changed immediately. Didn't think we'd see kids there.
Rooms were great. Liked the bar and pool.

We absolutely love this property. We are local and it is our family's favorite hotel to celebrate any special occassion (or even just to get away from it all). The service is impeccable and the grounds are stunning.

Bodega Bay Lodge was a beautiful, relaxing oceanside retreat. The staff was very welcoming. We arrived just after their complimentary wine tasting hour but we were still offered a glass of wine at check in. There were robes in our room to wear down to the pool and spa. Soaking in the infinity style hot tub overlooking the ocean was completely worth battling the cold air. Fortunately next to the hot tub is a fire pit that helped us stay warm while we dried off. The well appointed room and fireplace were so inviting that we decided to stay in and order room service. The food was great too. We will definitely tell our friends about this lovely hotel.
Personal opinion Wouldn’t recommend it. Hard to deal with staff and stiff regulations. I wish I reserved it somewhere else.
Right on the bay. Spacious room. Good bed and bedding. Quiet.

The room was perfect, modern and clean. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The only thing I had any issue with was room service food was only o.k. It wasn't bad but I expected the food to be a bit better. We ordered the flatbread and gnocchi for dinner. The flatbread we ordered was the pepperoni with added spicy sausage. It arrived chock full of red peppers and carmelized onions which my husband and I have an aversion to. Even then, we tried to pick them off. The flatbread was a little soggy and too sweet for our taste. The gnocchi was better, but nothing to write home about. Overall I highly recommend the Bodega Bay Lodge and will be back for another stay.
Just love this place. Beautiful, clean, comfortable lodge with lots of amenities. The "Happy Hour" in the lobby was really fun talking with other guests. Nice restaurant with a cozy bar. The lodge is close to the water with good walks available down to the beach and through bird habitat.
Funky smell in the bathroom. Otherwise a beautiful setting, fantastic infinity hot tub and lovely staff.
