This was an older hotel. But it was very clean, the non-smoking room was not smoky-smelling, and even though the hotel was fairly booked, it was quiet.
I arrived later than i had expected. When l entered I was treated with kindness and respect. My room was clean and everything I needed was there. Most of all it was quiet, I was able to park very near my room and room 218 has a view. Not like the Grand Canyon but a view.

Stayed here for an overnight stay with a friend to do some wine tastings. We weren't spending much time in the hotel, but it was conveniently located and the price was fairly priced. Check in was fine, the girl working was pleasant. My friend and I returned to the hotel late on Saturday night, 10/27 and there was an employee who was outside, I believe maybe Front Desk, she had a nametag on. She was friendly by saying hello but made a very strange comment to us as we walked by. She said something like, "Oh wow, you are beautiful ladies, Joe (or some man's name) would love you, he's a real big boy!" It was very odd and put us off a bit.
Recently renovated hotel. Friendly staff. Restaurant on site with live music almost every night. Gym, pool, hot tube in premises also.
I was called by the hotel a month prior to my stay to see what needs I might have because I was booked in a handicap room. I had only requested a queen bed when I booked so was not aware I was even in a handicap room. I of course agreed to be moved so the hotel could accommodate another guest. Because of this when I arrived at the hotel I was informed I had been upgraded to a casita !
Stayed in Cottonwood for the night after the Verde Canyon train ride. The place is older, but very well kept and the staff was excellent. They do have a full breakfast, but seating is limited so get down there early. The room was comfortable and the beds were pretty firm and comfortable. We went on to Sedona and my wife realized that she left her dress shoes in the room, so we called and the front desk employee and she was able to ask one of the cleaning ladies and they located them, so we drove back and got them. Was disappointed that the jacuzzi was closed for the season. Very clean rooms, nice grounds and close to all that you need. Mexican restaurant right next to it, but we did not try it. All in all, I would stay there again when in Cottonwood.
The beds were great we didn't want to leave. We wanted to take the beds home with us.
Would give this a 0 rating but not system won't let us. We had to cancel our reservation due to the main highway being closed for several hours and not being able to get there. Not only did the hotel refuse to refund our money they lied to Orbitz and and said we were on our way they just talked to us. We called back the following day and they told Orbitz we no showed. It was beyond our control that we could not make it and a good hotel would refund the money. We have also decided to NEVER do business with Orbitz again. After spending $1000s over the years booking with them we are done and they don't seem to care.
