The beds were great we didn't want to leave. We wanted to take the beds home with us.
Would give this a 0 rating but not system won't let us. We had to cancel our reservation due to the main highway being closed for several hours and not being able to get there. Not only did the hotel refuse to refund our money they lied to Orbitz and and said we were on our way they just talked to us. We called back the following day and they told Orbitz we no showed. It was beyond our control that we could not make it and a good hotel would refund the money. We have also decided to NEVER do business with Orbitz again. After spending $1000s over the years booking with them we are done and they don't seem to care.
Pleasant stay, bathroom fan noisy, outside trash not pickup in a timely manor. Room was fine.
This place was awesome in everyway! Very friendly staff & very accomadating in everything we ask for.
I booked this reservation by mistake, but the hotel manager would not agree to cancel the reservation according the Orbit staff. I am extremely disappointed at the service and will never use Orbit to book my reservation in the future!
Clean, spacious, and friendly staff. Closed to restaurants and old town cottonwood. Has outdoor swimming pool.
Clean, inexpensive, suitable hotel compared to the Sedona hotels. Avoided spending hundreds of dollars on an overnight stay. Definitely would recommend for overnight hikers not looking for a full resort.
When we arrived no one was at the desk. We waited a bit to check in as a sign said "be right back". After that check in and our stay was fine. We had called a couple days earlier to see if Jacuzzi was working, the worker said no and they were sorry. When we arrived the Jacuzzi was working fine, but we had left our swim suits at home :(
Very comfortable room that was clean and nicely appointed.
Staff are friendly and accommodated our need. Continental breakfast wsa also good.
Comfy, quiet, cozy, clean, everything worked, free wi-fi, will stay there again next time we go thru there in a couple of years.
A very enjoyable stay in Cottonwood. Only drawback was noise made by air conditioner.
This hotel was good. No problems and great pillows.
Our stay was comfortable & continent . The day front desk person, when we arrived, was very indefferent & curt to us because we were early arrival, 12:00pm. I asked her to call my cell when our room was ready but she was "too" busy. & check in was 3:00pm, we were aware of. I travel for business & this was not acceptable , especially her attitude .
This room was very over-priced. We have paid significantly less for much larger and better rooms in nearby Prescott. Decorating was 70's-vintage. Tiny scraps of soap, two small bath towels, hand towels and wash clothes. Fridge was fine, flatscreen TV gave weird stretched picture. No eggs for breakfast buffet.
We stayed here 3 months ago with a good experience so decided to stay again when we booked a "boat trip" on the Verde River out of Clarkdale (this program won't let me say what kind of "boat trip" it was because it is also a competitor's name) and planned hikes in the local hills. It was much harder to get a room this time. It turns out that it's their busy season. Must be because of the beautiful weather. We ended up in the casitas located a little farther from the main building and a bit more expensive. It was very quiet even though I think they were also all occupied. The room was clean and comfortable with a small private patio. It was wasted on us since we had activities planned all weekend. Our refrigerator made a very loud noise several times each the night that always woke us and the artfully arranged pillows on the bed were a bit too buoyant for our liking. There was a dedicated ice machine for the casitas, but it was broken. It wasn't that far to the ice machine at the main building but it was used pretty heavily. I was able to get 8 ice cube the first night but a full bucket the second night. The hot breakfast each morning was standard fare and filling. It was better than I would expect at a fast food place but not from a sit down restaurant.
The hotel & staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean. However, the pillows are absurdly fat ... & there were no alternatives when I asked. If the pillow is 5 miles high -- I can't sleep ... and that's what I came to the hotel to do. This has been a problem for me at 3 different Best Westerns, so I won't book with them again.
It was normal motel. The good thing is it is close enough to Sedona. Motel/Hotem in Sedona is more expensive (usually more funcy). Compare to those, it was much reasonable price and still had enough dining place in walking distance.
Very clean extra friendly staff. I had a service dog and they went out of the way to serve him and me. Pool very very well maintained.
We ended up staying here after fireworks July 4th in Prescott. Everything in Prescott and Prescott Valley was booked. Hotel was very nice. Beds were comfy. Lady working the night of the 4th was just O.K. as far as making us feel welcome. The rest of the staff during our stay were friendly. Breakfast was good. Lots of choices. Also, my teens shared a room and loved the amenties and how nice it looked!
