I stayed for 5 days at this hotel and it was wonderful except that the floors are kind of squeaky, I kept hearing the squeaking of floors every time someone walked upstairs in a room above me. Other than that, nothing to complain. Great value.
Hotel was in a good location. Room was small decor cute. Price was ok. I recommend it.
Friendly staff, clean and central location. Stayed for two nights with my family and we all enjoyed it.
Did not get bottom floor as asked for handicap. Stairs made it hard. Older motel, redone to cool decor. Hot breakfast was waffle, unless you pay extra for egg dish cooked to order.
The restaurant has a fabulous hamburger and french fry meal. This staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was a little older, but the beds are comfortable. Location is good, can walk to plaza or take the shuttle.
The Sage Inn fits in well with the Santa Fe area, with a southwestern feel to the nicely decorated room, lovely grounds and pool, and local architecture. Being close to the downtown area and Railyard district is a bonus too.
I had looked for awhile to find the best hotel that was both reasonable and comfortable. I visited the Santa Feb Indian Market last weekend and booked the last available room in this hotel back in April. I was on the second floor in the back of building B. It was fantastically quiet and nice. The room was furnished with southwest decor and was very welcoming. It was also very cozy. I only wish that I could have stayed longer. Hotel staff was very nice. Food and atmosphere of the restaurant was also great. They had fantastic food. This is a wonderful place if you want to be close to it all. I will be sure to stay here again if and when I return to Santa Fe.
Nice hotel in Santa Fe. Great lobby with bar which has happy hour. Clean rooms and comfortable bed.
Ok place for a less expensive price for Santa Fe.
The hotel room was very small. The shower curtain smelled and had to be replaced. The pool was small and had green water. The hotel had a horrible band playing for 4 hours on Thursday night right outside our room. Overall, it was a huge disappointment.
Had 3 rooms for only 1 night and all were good. Have stayed here before and found it to be a good central location.
If you're looking for nice, affordable, and convenient, this is the place for you. Overall I am happy with my experience here. I've stayed here many times through the years. On my most recent stay I did notice the breakfast was not as good as before. There was fresh fruit in the form of old brown bananas that no one wanted. Watery coffee also. I had requested a quiet room and was right next to the ice machine, which was noisy. Also, parking is now $5. Still, overall a good place..
convenient to market> Easy walk or free shuttle to plaza every hour. Quiet. Easy ride to art galleries and interstate.
Rooms are basic motel rooms. Very clean and comfortable enough
My sister and I are "Seniors". Requested a ground floor room and close to the front office as my sister had hip surgery and has some difficulty in walking. Day 1. Got ground floor, but placed at the back of the hotel where rooms are being updated no one else on the back requested to move Day 2. Moved up close to the front office felt safer heating unit went out that afternoon, could not get it to work temp dropped to 29 degrees that night. Requested to move again. Day 3. Maintenance workers came in room when left to get breakfast, replaced heating unit with new one. Left room with beds shoved to one side. I turned the unit on and could feel the heat, but the fan did not work. Called the desk AGAIN. Maintenance came back again worked and could not get it fixed. Left and came back with another new unit and replaced. This one worked. Day 4. Had one more day left before checkout. My sister went to get breakfast, was told they didn't have any, as the help had not shown up. Could not get out of this place quick enough. Had to call for towels, toliet paper and Kleenex a lot. In fact they didn't have any Kleenex and I was given a used box they (the staff) had at the desk. My sister and I are in our 70's we love going to Santa Fe and a lot of my family make this visit yearly. No one at any age should be subject to this type of treatment. I kept thinking things would get better, but they didn't. I don't think I should be charged for staying in this hotel.
Great place to spend the night. Comfortable and we were able to bring our dog with us. Free breakfast and we were able to visit the Farmer's Market right across the street.
The hotel was more than expected! Lovely accommodations, great location within walking distance to downtown. Nice restaurant on site and terrific breakfast included. The staff was excellent! We will definitely stay here again and will recommend this hotel to friends.
Good staff but the room have a bad smell, bathroom toilet was dirty, some body garbage bag was in a corner, when we ask to change rooms the other ones were also smelly.
The staff was very accomadating in eveything we asked for. Very friendly too!
The location was awesome! The shuttle service was great and the hotel staff very helpful and nice. We thought the room was very clean, however it was also very tiny! The internet service was shaky at best. The breakfast was so-so. Fortunately there is a health food market next door that helped solve the breakfast issue!
