Even though the room was very clean and needed some updating that would have been OK. However the room was so dark and the lights so dim it was hard to read or find things in the drawers. Even during the day with drapes open...still dark ! Great location and other amenities. Staff very nice with the exception of one concierge that did not want to be bothered doing her job.

My wife and I just stayed here for three nights in early October. The hotel was pretty busy. It seemed like they a convention or two that weekend. It’s a decent sized hotel with your typical amenities: restaurant & lounge, spa, gym, several conference room, and a gift shop. The staff was friendly though the wait staff in the restaurant was a bit slow and sometimes inattentive. We ate at the hotel lounge the first night. The food was pretty decent though it was hard to not feel ignored by our waiter. The next morning we had breakfast in the restaurant. This was a bigger disappointment. It took 15 minutes of standing in line while my wife watched it toddler. Rather than make her do the same I gave her mine and just ate oatmeal (the only other choice) But the biggest problem was the lack of A/C. I heard others complaining it as well so it seems it was a wide spread issue. According to one staff member, it had been a problem for a day or two before we arrived. Our only option to keep the room at a reasonable temperature was to keep the windows open and use a fairly loud box-fan provided by the hotel. This would have been fine if the hotel was located in the woods and our room wasn’t within ear-shot of the dumpsters, but neither was true. Sadly, I got very little rest while we stayed there. I can’t help but feel that I would have gotten better value at just about any other hotel or motel in the area.

Lovely quiet hotel, a wonderful hotel , good location with or without a car

Very warm welcome from Eldorado. Even before we arrived. We appreciated that we were in walking distance to shops, church, restaurants, etc. And had opportunity to attend an art show.

We stayed four nights and had a delightful stay! Everyone was so nice! The location was great for shopping and the hotel is beautiful!!

Great location-nice rooms-had to follow up on a few things that front desk had promised to take care of but did not..:be aware you must valet as well

Hotel was beautiful, the staff wonderful! Our room lighting was poor. We couldn't read because the few lights we had, were dark. We were in a "deluxe room with a balcony "- it leaked cool air under the door going onto the balcony so our room was always chilly. Not a nice view from the balcony, I'm sorry I paid extra for that.

I only have one concern...The beds were a little worn.

Great. Front desk Girl was clueless no help with the hotel amenities.

The staff was awesome, friendly and knowledgable. We were pleasantly surprised with every aspect of the hotel and its crew. Definite recommend to stay there.

Nice location, facilities. Staffs were so kind that they recommended a nice brewery restaurant which was excellent.

Our stay at the Eldorado Hotel was great, hotel staff were friendly and helpful beyond what is normal.our room was beautiful, comfortable, well appointed. Our only complaint was the hotel bar restaurant. Food and service was mediocre at best. That being said, everything else about our stay there was great! Would recommend.

Very nice hotel - walking distance to the plaza, art galleries and restaurants. I left my laptop in the room and they found it and are keeping it until I pick it up. Excellent place, very professional yet friendly staff.

This was the 2nd time that we stayed at the Eldorado Hotel, although the first time was 12 years ago. The hotel lobby is beautiful and the check-in procedure was smooth and easy. The hotel hallways (carpeting) look a bit more tired than they did 12 years ago, but our room was spacious, clean and mostly very comfortable. I would have preferred a slightly firmer mattress and less squishy pillows, but that is personal preference. Also, brighter lighting in the bathroom would be nice. The exercise facility is great, although it would be nice to have cranks on the windows so that patrons can adjust the windows (on one 30 degree morning, several of the windows were cranked all the way open, and the room was freezing; on another morning, it was quite warm and the windows were almost all closed, so it was stuffy.) Overall, we loved our stay though, and hope to be back soon.

Perfect location for enjoying Santa Fe. Close to shops and restaurants.

I enjoyed my stay. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. The hotel is walking distance to great restaurants and shopping.

no bathtub. noisy air conditioning. very expensive. we will stay at the drury hotel in santa fe next visit. they have reakfasst, happy hour.. shower dangerous. NOT SAFE. had to reach around sliding glass door to reach water from the faucet head and too short to reach to deflect. bad design. only one sliding glass doo ractually could slide. too dangerous for us. towels were excellent.

The Southwest decor in the rooms has an institutional feel and there were numerous unpainted sparkling which made the hotel feel like it was being renovated. The staff wasn't the friendliest I've experienced. Not what I expected.

Beautiful hotel with great service. Will definitely stay again!!

A nice and very comfortable room. Staff was friendly and helpful.
