The Hacienda staff is outstanding; we got to know them on a first name basis and they were always extremely friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast is wonderful, relaxing and convenient in a small dining room with great views of the Railyard and Sangre de Cristo mountains. The hotel's hot tub is a great way to warm up, even in the middle of winter!
Everything was great except that the hot tub was not hot enough. It was only 90 something degrees when it should have been over 100.
I called to make sure everything was open I was told everything was open I paid almost $300 for a room for one night to find out that everything was not open the only reason why I did come was for the spa nothing was open I was supposed to get a complementary breakfast that did not happen when ordering drinks to my room it took almost an hour to get here I am not happy to pay almost $300 for a night and not have any amenities Was not good
Beautiful hotel! Our room was gorgeous. The hotel is not well-managed, however—instead of just having a sign at the Hacienda to identify the building, you have to wait for a “butler” to show you to your room. After a long drive, we didn’t want to wait for a butler, but there’s no map of the grounds, and no signage to show the way. Also, we called in a take-out order from the restaurant and when I went to pick it up, it was on formal dishwater and a heavy room service tray, which we had to then carry ourselves through the parking lot. The room was lovely (but we couldn’t find it) and the food was good (but we had to haul it ourselves). We couldn’t do the included breakfast in the morning because there was a long line with few Covid precautions. Overall, those little annoyances added up to where I wouldn’t stay here again, unfortunately.
We have friends in Santa Fe. I have taken my wife all over the world and this is the only place she cried when she left. Thanks to the great staff at the restaurant, specifically Misty but not limited to her!
The staff was very welcoming but misinformed about local tours, museums & events
All was great especially the bell staff the food was was good also
It's a very good local hotel. The city should be very proud.
Excellent place and convenient location. Friendly staff and clean rooms with comfortable beds. Only negative is no TV in either the bar area or 6th floor lounge.
The service and amenities are what made this a remarkable stay...the butler and concierge lounge were well worth the price.
The hotel has a very welcoming feel to it when you arrive. We stayed in the Hacienda where our room had a fire place and a very comfortable king sized bed. The continental breakfast offered a lot of variety in a peaceful, comfortable setting with a roaring fireplace. The staff were friendly and helpful. The happy hour was the same. Free beer, wine and cheese and crackers. The daily resort fee includes the shuttle bus so be sure to use it!
8 days vacatin trip. I was suprprised that I had to pay an additinal $18.00 a day resort fee. Why wasn't this included in travel package?
My wife & I stayed here for a long weekend getaway and absolutely loved it. Our first time to Santa Fe, and this hotel was perfect. Everything is walkable and we loved it because it wasn't right on the plaza. It was about half a mile south of the main strip in Santa Fe and there were many more local places to eat and more of a local vibe where we were. We walked up to the plaza and it was very tourist-y compared to the area around our hotel. The staff was amazing, the room was wonderful. The only reason for 4 stars on amenities was because they don't have a gym or pool at the hotel, which we wouldn't have used either anyways.
We do alot of traveling, and I can honestly say this is an A+ hotel. We were very impressed. The hotel is beautiful and the Staff is super accomodating and professional. If you are looking for a hotel in the Santa Fe area, this is the one for you! PA from Miami
Wish we could have stayed longer. Has what we needed.
Staff butler extremely helpful, delicious and plentiful brunch included. Plentiful free parking makes it perfect for those with cars. We found out that with 24 hours notice, the hotel will send its shuttle all the way to the airport in Albuquerque for those who prefer not to drive. Also the only native-American owned hotel in town, with lovely art and sculpture throughout.
This was a nice get away BUT I had decided last minute to maybe schedule a spa treatment so I asked if I could have a one hour later check out....was told it would cost 50.00 and we could stay tILL 3:00 decided to say no to spa and late check out!
