The Hacienda & Spa at Hotel Santa Fe

4.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Excellent place and convenient location. Friendly staff and clean rooms with comfortable beds. Only negative is no TV in either the bar area or 6th floor lounge.

The service and amenities are what made this a remarkable stay...the butler and concierge lounge were well worth the price.

The hotel has a very welcoming feel to it when you arrive. We stayed in the Hacienda where our room had a fire place and a very comfortable king sized bed. The continental breakfast offered a lot of variety in a peaceful, comfortable setting with a roaring fireplace. The staff were friendly and helpful. The happy hour was the same. Free beer, wine and cheese and crackers. The daily resort fee includes the shuttle bus so be sure to use it!

8 days vacatin trip. I was suprprised that I had to pay an additinal $18.00 a day resort fee. Why wasn't this included in travel package?

My wife & I stayed here for a long weekend getaway and absolutely loved it. Our first time to Santa Fe, and this hotel was perfect. Everything is walkable and we loved it because it wasn't right on the plaza. It was about half a mile south of the main strip in Santa Fe and there were many more local places to eat and more of a local vibe where we were. We walked up to the plaza and it was very tourist-y compared to the area around our hotel. The staff was amazing, the room was wonderful. The only reason for 4 stars on amenities was because they don't have a gym or pool at the hotel, which we wouldn't have used either anyways.

We do alot of traveling, and I can honestly say this is an A+ hotel. We were very impressed. The hotel is beautiful and the Staff is super accomodating and professional. If you are looking for a hotel in the Santa Fe area, this is the one for you! PA from Miami

Wish we could have stayed longer. Has what we needed.

Staff butler extremely helpful, delicious and plentiful brunch included. Plentiful free parking makes it perfect for those with cars. We found out that with 24 hours notice, the hotel will send its shuttle all the way to the airport in Albuquerque for those who prefer not to drive. Also the only native-American owned hotel in town, with lovely art and sculpture throughout.

This was a nice get away BUT I had decided last minute to maybe schedule a spa treatment so I asked if I could have a one hour later check out....was told it would cost 50.00 and we could stay tILL 3:00 decided to say no to spa and late check out!

I booked the hotel without doing much research, it turned out the best part of the stay is the location: it's close to Site Santa Fe (a contemporary art museum) and the railroad depot (other shops and galleries) , and its within walking distance to the historic center. The hotel does have shuttle to the plaza, but the service is more sporadic than the reception would have guests believe! Amenities such as pool, gym, and spa are average and not too impressive, however the staff is generally friendly and eager to make recommendations. Overall. I would say the Santa Fe hotel is a bit overprice for what it has to offer.

The interior design of the Hacienda & Spa at Hotel Santa Fe is exceptional. It captures the southwestern style with sophistication and comfort at the same time. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed several delicious meals at the Amaya restaurant--the prix fixe dinner is a good value. The shuttle service is also very convenient for getting around town.

When we arrived we were given to complementary drinks. However, we were told our room was in the Hacienda but there were no room numbers visible on the outside of the building for our room. The Hotel has number plates declaring the locations of the rooms. The Hacienda on the other hand does not. The rooms in the Hacienda start at 400 and go up even though 400 is ground floor (the elevator list only floors 4, 5 & 6 too). If you are inside of the lobby of the Hacienda you will find the plaques for the rooms. The room was nice, clean and had a fire place. We were told there was a free continental breakfast but no eggs so, we passed eating breakfast at the restaurant which was pretty nice too.

Excellent service, good location next to Santa Fe Farmers Market. Shuttle service anywhere within a mile.

We found the hotel and staff to be very welcoming and comfortable. The room was quite nice and the location was perfect. We also enjoyed the car service provided. Overall, it was terrific! Hopefully, we will return again.

We had a very nice experience at this hotel and would stay there again. It is located in the Rail yard district and there is the wonderful Site museum and funky galleries. The concierge told us about the Santa Fe Opera which was amazing. There was a free continental breakfast each morning with a lovely assortment. The hotel offers a van which took us where ever we wanted to go!

Nice hotel and very nice room. Second stay and would definitely return. About 5 blocks from the plaza and so not a lot of the hubbub.

Great location, awesome staff, great room, clean facilities, nice clean pool and pool area, GREAT SHUTTLE SERVICE to the Plaza and Canyon Road. I highly recommend the Hacienda at hotel Santa Fe. The staff were terrific, as was the brekfeast.

Hotel was quiet, comfortable, and in a good location. The staff was always friendly and helpful. We spend our days Museum and shop hopping. It was always nice to go back to the hotel to relax and unwind. The Hacienda will be our first choice when we return to Santa Fe.

A disappointment.

Very private hotel. Quiet and a wonderful place to relax. Suite was roomy and comfortable. The service was fantastic. Butlers were very attentive and the free shuttle service was a major plus!
