Didn’t end up staying!

I didn’t end up staying at the Hotel. First, my room key didn’t work. Then, the locks were changed & I got a new key & got into the room - where the AC barely worked. There was no way to adjust the AC. I was going to hike in Chaco Canyon the following day & needed a good, cool sleep. So I left. The woman at the desk was lovely, though! It was a very busy afternoon & she was working really hard!

The staff is unhelpful and unavailable. There are needles and trash everywhere. We weren't able to use our reservation because their system was down (blessing in disguise) and now I'm dealing with Expedia to get a refund (not cool at all). STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE. 0/10 do not recommend.

Horrible service and dirty bed spreads. The lady at the desk was so rude as well as the owner. I booked my room online and she still gave it away right in front of me and charged me full price for a room. Then my room was filthy holes in the blankets and sheets tv didnt work a/c didnt work. When i asked her to come look at the room they both got a attitude and said nothing was wrong with it . Then tried to charge us for another room because we asked to move to another room. The lady then tried to charge my card after 20 mins of arguing about the room and conditions luckily i had locked my card.

Not so great.

The thermostat housing was broken, and there was a piece of cardboard covering the switch and temperature sensor that said "DANGER, HIGH VOLTAGE" under the housing. This wasn't an issue for me but a curious child could electrocute themselves. . The A/C and fan were on when I arrived but the room was about the same temperature as outside; it was very hot for sleeping. . The shower curtain is missing several hooks thats hold it up which makes the curtain intrude into the shower space more and it kept sticking to me, which was unpleasant, as I suppose the shower curtain isn't changed and washed for every guest.

1 nights hard sleep

We stayed 1 night. So for a 1 night stay it was ok. The beds and bathroom need updating. Beds were old and stiff and the comforters had cigarette burns in them. The bathroom shower was a corner stall and the shower head was at the entry of the stall. Hot and cold were not on the correct sides of the nozzle so if you thought it was cold, it was hot. Awkward shower. The faucet at the sink splashed water everywhere. The walls and doors need updating. Looks like there were patched drywall and you can see the edges of the patch jobs. The place had new floors and the Tv was a good size. So we kept the comforters off the bed and used our own blankets. The pool looked like it hasn’t been used in years. They should fill it in and build a nice courtyard. Also a dog area on the side would be good. There were a lot of big dogs there. We didn’t feel safe taking our small dogs outside other than to do their business. If you just need a place to sleep and quick shower, this is the place. But if you’re staying a few days, look for something more comfortable.

For a one-night stay from a long road trip, this wasn't a bad place. The bed was super squeaky to the point where I would wake up in the night from it. The room itself was clean and had everything you needed.
