Baymont Inn by Wyndham Farmington

I booked the king suite for 2 nights but was put in a handicap king. When I asked front desk she stated that it was the girl who booked earlier in the day. They didn't have any other suites so I had no choice but to be moved into a double room. I was told i would get a discount for moving rooms but when I asked the morning hostess she said i could stay in the room and it was the girl from last nights fault. There was absolutely no accountability on either part and I didn't receive any type of discount. The morning front desk clerk was kinda rude and made it seem like she was frustrated and unprofessional.

location was fine..Outside weeds and needed repairs. Room was ok

Decent priced. Room stank like cologne and smoke. employee at front desk was very rude when we checked in and acted like we were an inconvenience for asking for restaurant recommendations. Area feels very unsafe with intoxicated people walking and stumbling everywhere... I would not stay here again traveling alone with two kids. In the middle of a remodel.

The greeting at the door was great. Professional, informative, easy, fast. I stayed because of the great reviews. Ummmm.....the room was small, the bathroom had stains all over the sink and updates desperately needed. Went to go make coffee and though there was coffee, there was no tray to put it in to make it. The only thing that saved the place is the amazing mattress. Would I stay again? Probably not.

First thing, when I walked in, the bathroom next to the check-in desk smelled and was completely stained with feces in the toilet. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a day & half in which the smell permeated into the lobby area. So right out the gate, this wasn't a pleasant experience. In the room, the bathroom tub was stained with dirty footprints and carpet had visible stains left over from god knows what. The breakfast was sub-par with only sweet items and it wasn't very inviting. I did enjoy the staff, they were very nice and accommodating with any questions or concerns that I had. It's just that the facility was very dirty and poorly managed. If I need another place to stay in Farmington, I will probably book at a more higher starred hotel or an Airbnb.

Live about 2 hrs away didn't want to drive home late after shopping I booked on line and it was what I expected. The clerk at the desk said she was putting us downstairs on the first floor where it wouldn't be as noisy. I appreciated that. Thankyou

Great location, quite not much noise, TV to techie.

For the price, the room was outstanding. Fridge and microwave, quality air conditioner, comfy bed. View if the parking lot not so great, but not a deal breaker.

Staff friendly rooms not what I expected the pictures were really nice room stinks the ac was set at a temp sucks ! Could hear everyone around the room up sides awful won't stay there again!! Breakfast was good well my child like it

They did not let me have a non smoking room after I booked it Online

First! We had no heater in the room. The Desk clerk went up with us to verify, before allowing us to a different room. The next room, while slightly larger (being a handicapped room), had it's own set of issues. First, because it's at the end of the hall, had no wifi... we are big on wifi. The heater did work! But there were stains. Stains on the bedspread, stains on the hall floor, stains on the bench seat by the window. Now I don't get this part... why are there so many light switches on the walls, but none of them work? At first I thought it was because it was meant for handicapped peeps... but since they don't work? Not all lights worked, some were missing bulbs, some wouldn't turn off, and had to be unplugged. Strange sounds while we tried to sleep (good thing I had earplugs, wife suffered however with none). I think the best thing about all this was the continental breakfast on the first day. Everything was fairly fresh. No water for the instant oatmeal though... strangely, the following day seemed to be some leftovers from the previous, as muffins/biscuits were no longer as fresh. One thing which bothered me, was to see religious material in the lobby. I know it's standard to leave a bible in the room somewhere, but to see materials in the lobby on a table just bothered me a little bit. Overall, for the price, it's decent. I will be staying again, all the other places I have read reviews, are horrid in comparison to what we experienced. At least there were no pests, chanting religious types outside, nor bums hanging out in the alcoves. Hopefully next time, we will have a better experience and get to report the status as such.

Hotel was average nice . Needs more cleaning in the elevator.

I was not greeted by the desk clerk. Instead, she seemed irritated that I was there and interrupted her. I had to initiate the process, give all information, and guide her along the check-in process. She continued singing under her breath and "dancing" while checking me in, never said a word to me until double-checking my name and slapping me key on the counter, quickly returning to her cubby behind the wall and getting back to her music. Ugh! That said, the room was clean (except the coffee maker). The shower was EXCELLENT. The bed was not the best, not the worst -- worked for a night's rest. I was ready to forgive the desk clerk and write a good review, until the next morning. I went to make coffee in my room, and the coffee maker hadn't been cleaned. I washed out the carafe, and made my coffee. Took one sip, and it was nasty! Tasted dirty. The whole coffee maker obviously needs to be cleaned (ever heard of vinegar once a month?). I'm not that picky on coffee, but it was bad. I had gas station coffee instead! Also, I went down to the front desk to ask about the wifi password, thinking the morning crew had to be better. Nope, worse! Rude. If I go back through Farmington again, I'll probably stay elsewhere.

Pretty average, a little expensive for what we got. Slept well.

When I turned down my bed, there was a coffee stain on the sheets. I smelled it and it still smelled of coffee.....leading me to believe that they had not been washed...YUCK! When I called the front desk to report the problem they asked if I wanted clean sheets....OF COURSE I DO!! Half hour went by and nothing. I call again and then the front desk person knocks on my door and hands me sheets...they didn't change them, just handed me clean sheets. The second morning there was a hair (not mine) on one of the 'clean' towels. Not my favorite hotel experience. Minor thing....no Food Network.

Rooms were so dusty, there were even old clothes in the drawers, towels were so old, can not believe that this Choice-franchisee does not meet Choice standards.. I will not go back to this hotel anymore..
