Had scheduling issues double booked And my card was double charged

Great place........Staff made it right for room delay

Excellent room and service. Beautiful vistas and very laid back atmosphere.

Modern, clean facility with especially friendly staff and a beautiful and proud Native American motif.

Upon checkin, found that the ceiling had significant water damage (and is that mold??), and the furniture and window frames were VERY damaged. The first night the refrigerator was so loud it woke us up. In addition, an intoxicated woman later pounded on the door wanting in. She went away, but the frig stayed noisy. This was all reported but no action was taken. It wasn't uninhabitable, so that was it. We were told that the room was scheduled to have furniture replaced, and they were unaware of water issues. Day 2, we went to the outdoor pool because the indoor pool was closed for repair. We were told that when then indoor pool became available the outdoor pool would be closing. Anyway the outdoor pool was nice and weather was good most of the time we were there so not an issue. Day 3 went for a walk along the 2.5 mile trail, beautiful views but there was a coyote on the trail. I'm told they won't hurt adults, just kids and dogs! Would have felt better if I had some pepper spray. Also a lot of dog door on the path, watch your step! I really wanted to love this hotel. I'm planning a group trip and was scouting for a destination, the location is good, and scenery is awesome, but seemed like every time I turned around I found something that was broken, dirty, or generally neglected. On the other hand, staff were very nice and the location is good. I didn't eat at the restaurants on site. Also, hotel was pretty empty so maybe it's on the decline??

wonderful dinners at Iguana and Red Sage .. Enjoyed great Sunday Morning buffet .. Pool and surroundings were excellent ... hotel grounds were immaculate .. staff service friendly and very helpful, any and all concerns addressed immediately. and Comps from the Casino were plentiful. One of the best vacations in a long time.

Easy check-in easy check-out, very nice pool and facilities.

Pros: fast & early check in, cold a/c, free beverage station had a variety of drinks, new members get free play, spacious suite, bathroom has two showers, lots of slot machines Cons: almost all the restaurants close early, cafe food was horrible which made it not worth the extremely high price, deli food was decent but they forgot a lot of our order & there was a long line, toilet doesn’t flush well, dead baby bird on patio, jacuzzi closed, small non smoking area

Buffett under construction was a dissappointment to us. Tourquoise Cafe addequate. Red Fern Lounge quite pricey. Pool area wasn't open yet, maintenance going on, couldn't really use that area for relaxation yet. Over all good experince. Conciere Amilia at Check In Desk was very accommodating and friendly.

This not a resort as it is suppose to be by the hotel description.

Kids absolutely loved it. Didn't know it was part casino when I booked it but it was still nice for them. Wish breakfast was part of the deal though. Beautiful hotel. Love all the art.

This Hilton resort and casino is classy and maintains high standards in every aspect. The authentic art exposed in the lobby and in the hallways is amazing! For dinner I recommend the buffet served daily from 4pm to 8pm. Maybe the management should extend the schedule to 9pm.... I am not a gambler but I was impressed with the casino. It is not like a super large, Vegas style casino, yet it is attractive and cosy meanwhile! The location of this resort is just 3 miles south of Epaniola and only 95 miles away from Red River Ski resort. Technically, you can drive to Red River or Taos, spend the day there skiing and return to Buffalo Thunder for the night. This will save you hundreds of $ per day, given the hotel rates in Red River during the ski season. I will return to this resort in the summer for their large pools! Great food served at the Painted Parrot buffet!

got double charge for the room. Not please with that did not refund deposit of 50.00 either.

Had a very nice time the place was very clean and friendly people.

Nice location--easy access to Santa Fe, nice amenities--casino, golf courses, restaurants The staff was very helpful

We had asked for a "standard" room. What we didn't know was that a standard room faced a wall and we could only see a part of the sky! We were told at the front desk that we could pay more each night to be "upgraded". Much of the hotel first floor smelled like smoke or heavy chlorine. We did not feel our room was sufficiently cleaned each day. We had to ask twice for information about the hotel (which wasn't in the room) and wouldn't have known there was a shuttle downtown if we hadn't overheard another guest ask about it. This hotel seems more interested in its casino and its conference center than it's other guests.
