The opposite of a chain hotel. This lovely old place has charm, from its sherry hour to the helpful parking attendant to the super friendly staff to the sit-down fully served breakfast. I love the room decor, with Santa Fe style rugs and throws. Everything was delightful, including the location a couple blocks from the heart of the old city.

Other reviews are not accurate! Terrible food for dinner. Made me sick. Terrible service for breakfast. I didn’t even get a free breakfast they were so behind. Empty coffee… no hot water for tea. Understaffed, unfriendly. Old place. Freezing cold walk to room. Room small, old and loud. Just underwhelmed and there is no way that place got the rating or reviews it did. Not cozy at all! I should have stayied at Hotel Santa Fe ( we’ve stayed multiple times before). Hotel Santa Fe is a top notch place with excellent service, food, and inviting atmosphere! Ruined our entire night staying at the inn at the governors.

A great stay

We were 3 friends on a getaway. We enjoyed the happy hour in the lobby - it was a comfortable place for comversing. And we got great recommendations for restaurants from the front desk. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The free breakfast was great and we enjoyed being centrally located.

This is a very quaint hotel that has been well maintained for its age. Our room was quite small vs. our friend's room but we both booked the same room. Our bathroom was very tight. While the hotel breakfast is made to order, it is still quite standard fair -- great restaurant options are within walking distance. Overall a good stay but we had hoped for a bit higher end experience.
