Trouble getting the room cleaned and the pool was closed for the entire stay despite hot temperatures.

The property is VERY outdated and old. The furniture is in poor shape, the towel rack was hanging off the wall, paint chipped, broken hair dryer, and a packaged breakfast that was a joke.
Needs a major upgrade. The breakfast was disappointing.
We froze. The heater barely blew warm air. We had to wear a sweatshirts and socks to bed.

The room was not maintained and was far from clean. My son took off his shoes and his white socks were soon black in the bottom from all the black grime on the floor. The blankets had a funky smell. Old doesn't have to mean disgusting. There aren't enough characters to describe all the issues... this isnthe worst place i have ever stayed in.
Pretty noisy area. Had issues with flies in my room, I realize because the seal on the door wasn't great and they were attracted to my lights. Air conditioning didn't work.
The property was very run down and felt unsafe. I was warned by locals multiple times to not be outside of the hotel when it was dark outside. The staff was very nice. Breakfast was very basic and they ran out of hot food every single morning I was there. The bed was hard as a rock and very squeaky. The walls had dirt streaks running down them and the bathroom was pretty gross. Every morning walking to breakfast I saw a group of maids hanging out in someones room eating. I will never stay at a Days Inn ever again. Pay more for safety and peace of mind.
Pool was nice. Animal friendly. There was a nice little courtyard and some grills.
Good: Convenient location. Decent breakfast. Pleasant staff. Improve: Bathroom fan did not work. No hand towels provided!
Location for price is good, but you get what you pay for and even then it was still not worth it. We had one outlet that worked. The phone didn’t work. And the place was dirty with long term use. Surface areas were clean, but I didn’t want to walk around without my shoes on, if that makes sense.
There was a strong perfume smell in the room. It was overpowering.
Loved friendly staff and clean rooms. TV didnt work in my room, but it was not a priority.
The young ladies at check in were nice and professional. The room seemed dingy. The tub still had hair in it from previous guest. Sheets did not seem fresh. Sink was slow to drain. At check out--we left early-- there was no one to close things out. At the window it said to ring. But after ringing no one came. I slid the key under the window.
