Property was perfect for an overnight stay in Santa Fe, parking a little challenging. However, they did have parking, which is a must when you stay in Santa Fe. We’ll stay there again!!
Great place in great location. Quality of free breakfast was excellent
We can't say enough about this unique place. The decor of the rooms is charming, the. Breakfasts delicious and witb varied choices, the staff warm and competent, the location quiet and very convenient.
The hotel is very close to the center of town. We walked everywhere. The room was very specious and clean. Loved the decor of the room, and little kitchen. Breakfast was included and was very good. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
Great location. Comfortable
Initially when we drove in we thought the property was going to be cool. Kind of a hidden away hotel with character. At check in the person was preoccupied on a personal phone call. Not professional. When I went back to talk about the issues in my room he was still on the phone and unable to focus on what I was telling him. Hotel room was decorated dry nicely however, pathway to the room was very uneven and falling apart, fountain in the little shared courtyard cools have been nice but it hade water lines exposed and just looked thrown together. In the room we found that the fire place did not work, the exhaust fan in the bathroom sounded like a lawn mower, the shower curtain rod was falling down, and the bed creaked so loudly every time you moved. Also the parking lot was messy, there was construction, yellow tape etc but it looked like it had been in that state for a long time. Just not the type of environment you expect for the money they charge. Food in the am was basic. I did go for a cinnamon roll that was in a big bowl on the counter but then noticed the bowl was full of ants. Oh, the phone didn’t work either. I did go back to let the front desk guy who was on the phone know about the issues with the room and he just said sorry. At check out I let the manager know about the issues with the room and I kind of got the same response of thanks but we don’t really care. Pass on this place. Stay in a motel or something for half the price.
Always excellent
Great place to stay. Very cozy but not much privacy.
Great staff who were friendly and helpful throughout. We had to move rooms due to a plumbing problem - given the property is a few 100 years old these things happen - but the the hotel dealt with it with good communication and ensuring we were happy. The breakfast every day is really great, and the rooms have a cozy and historic feel whilst still having all amenities you would need such as comfortable king bed, living area, well equipped kitchenette and the in room fire is a real treat on cold winter evenings. Overall highly recommended providing you want to enjoy real Santa Fe, and perfect location for walking into the plaza and exploring downtown!
This property was exactly what I would expect for Santa Fe. Authentic decor, comfortable rooms, clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our first room was hot, and the AC was not cooling. It was no problem relocating us to another room. Las Palomas is located just a few blocks from the Plaza, so the walk is very doable. The complementary breakfast was so good and tasty, and cooked fresh when ordered. I would definitely recommend Las Palomas.
Quaint and quiet. Not for those seeking top end amenities. Just a nice place just 3 blocks from old city center
Excellent experience. Very pretty courtyards and grounds
Poor service
Wonderful hotel in the heart of Santa Fe. Easy walk to many great restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly and delivered a yummy, healthy breakfast each morning. The room was very comfortable and I loved the fireplace. Parking was free and there were many outdoor spots to enjoy a coffee or read a book. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting Santa Fe, this place will not disappoint.
This hotel was magical. I absolutely loved it. Staff was lovely and rooms were relaxing. (And the breakfast was so good!) coming back as soon as I can make it back to NM.
We loved our stay at Las Palomas. Happily, the property and rooms looked just like they do in the pictures, so everything was exactly as we expected. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel is a 5 minute walk to the center of town and the in room fireplace was perfect for the cold snap we had while in town. I would definitely stay here again.
The staff here was friendly and helpful--also very efficient, getting us checked in quickly at a busy time and opening for breakfast bright and early on a Sunday morning. The room was great--the bathroom could have used an update (esp. the sink, which was a little difficult to use because of the long faucet), and there seemed to be some creaking in the ceiling at night. It was very clean and comfortable, and the bed, shower, and bath products were wonderful.
The generosity and the welcoming feeling given by all the staff. It's a great business model to offer gifts like breakfast and free coffee and warmth inspirit.
Cozy and quiet. Complimentary coffee and espresso was nice, as was free shuttle to the main plaza.
