The staff was either very helpful and friendly or not helpful at all and rude. When we first got to the hotel, too early, the front clerk didnt seem to want to help at all and she was very short with us. Same when we checked out. However, there were two men later dueonf the day at the front counter who were eager to help and check us in. Similar experience with breakfast. One lady was super helpful and went above and beyond to make eveyone happy, while another workwr had her ear pods in and therefore could hear anyone asking for help, which lead foe the other worker having to do most of the work. The room was clean enough, but not exceptional.

We chose this hotel because it had EV chargers. Amazingly they worked great. We have not had good luck at other properties using the chargers, but these worked well. So, we were able to hit the road fully charged--both us and the car.

We have had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Ruidoso on several occasions. However, during our most recent visit, we noticed that the facilities appeared to be a bit outdated, and there was a subtle musty odor. Nevertheless, the location is excellent for exploring downtown and the local restaurants as its in walking distance.
