The Adults Only quiet zone pool was the best idea for a resort. They should all have them. Spa was beautiful, grounds are amazing, and local historical info and artisans was fascinating.

Very nice clean rooms friendly staff good restaurant.

We were staying at the resort to catch an acoustic duo perform. I asked at the front desk as I checked in what time they music started and was told there was no live music that night - wrong. Anyway, the rooms are super comfortable and very tastefully decorated and having jacuzzi plus 3 swimming pools - kid, mixed ages and adults only is great. As we watched the music on the patio, with a stunning view of the Sandia Mountains, we ordered a number of appetizers including meatballs in mole. The meatballs were so overcooked, we raised the issue with our server who brought us another batch. Same thing, overdone so we left them. The mac n cheese with wild mushrooms and fried calamari hit the mark.

We had a room with a balcony and view of the mountains, and it was well worth the upcharge. We were only there for two days, but we really enjoyed the large adults-only Kiva Pool. Dinner out on the patio of the Rio Grande Restaurant was also wonderful. The menu include a range of fresh choices. My only gripe was the $23 charge for the breakfast buffet.

We had a lovely stay at Tamaya. We loved the staff, decor, and amenities. Location was also a big plus being in between Santa Fe and Albuquerque. We did the horse riding which has a free pick up and is a 5-minute ride away, truly amazing views! We checked in super late and it was no problem at all - even got a free room upgrade. And the complimentary margaritas upon arrival are amazing! Rooms were super clean as well and the bed was really comfy.

Beautiful setting very peaceful relaxing place for a getaway destination hotel. Great pool great location friendly staff that go out of the way to insure your stay is enjoyable. The only negative is the room service was good but the some of the dishes were not of our liking...

Me and my husband came here for our honeymoon. We wanted somewhere to get away but that was close to home. This was a great place for that. The rooms were great! They were comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The staff were nice and helpful when we needed help. They have plenty of activities to do if your interested. The only thing I was unhappy with was the food! It was average and expensive which was a double negative. I do not mind spending money on good food but paying 14 for a burger when McDonalds burgers are better is frustrating! They had different options for restaurants but they had the same menu which defeated the purpose of having more than one restaurant. Overall, my experience was positive and would recommend it.

Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, good food. I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely the grounds were. There is a very nice walking trail that is peaceful and serene. The bar on site has great sandwiches and other fare. The location is remote, but this makes for a peaceful stay.

This hotel / resort is more like a bed and breakfast. I think the Hyatt corporation should not call this a resort. It is no where near anything like a resort. The location is right behind an Indian casino which makes the resort feel cheap. I like the remoteness of the location but if this resort is going be so remote you need to have amenities available much later. This resort is about 30 minutes from Albuquerque and about 45 minutes from Santa Fe. The only places open are McDonalds and Wendys. All the amenities are closed by 1100 pm as well as valet. I would come back around 11:00 - 11:30 and nothing was open. When staying at a resort it is always nice to go have a drink in the bar before retiring to bed but that was not the case because nothing was open. I had to self park and walk to the front which was also freezing cold. The rooms were just ok very worn and not very comfortable - I don't know what the resort uses to wash their sheets but every night my skin would itch. The cleaning staff left their cleaning supplies in my bathroom .. Over all it seemed like a lot of work to go to and from this bed and breakfast and was not very exciting at all... I was very disappointed with my stay at the so called resort.

A little slice of heaven just minutes from the albequque airport. Decor, food, service, outstanding. Enjoyed the spa services and the trail ride on horseback. Amazing view from my balcony. Casual with a five star feel.

Kind of secluded. Very nice grounds and trails. Expensive shuttle to airport ($88.00) outstanding enchiladas.

Our room was comfortable. However, one improvement I recommend is to place a plate or something similar at the bottom of the entry door. There was quite a gap. Biting insects may have made it into the room via this gap because I woke up with itchy welts and there were possibly 20 dead insects in the bathtub where water remains after use.

This hotel is great, secluded, and a must stay if you are looking for a hotel close to Albuquerque and Santa Fe but far enough away to be clear from the everyday busy city.

The hotel is gorgeous, and the surrounding area is simply breathtaking. I wish we had more time there - next time we go, we will spend more time just luxuriating at the hotel. We took a horseback ride around the property; Horacio was an amazing guide. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel; simply wonderful.

The overall experience was wonderful. The staff were very helpful and friendly. All total was enjoyable few days

Most beautiful resort my new husband and I have been to. Calm, relaxing, amazing! Exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon.

Great staff - top to bottom. Extremely friendly and accommodating. Beautiful setting. Nice restaurants. The spa was amazing and is a top-rated (top 25) in a recent magazine and it was wonderful. Only one pool was open (it is the winter season) and one was undergoing major renovation but we did not see any actual work going on during our time.

My husband and I love to get away to the Tamaya. We live fairly close, but feel like we are miles away. The staff goes above our expectations every time and do whatever they can to make our stay the best possible.

Loved this place. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We thought the room was clean and comfy. The views were amazing and the pools very nice. I would definitely recommend (actually already told my boss) a conference there. Would love to go back. We didn't really eat there due to wanting to see the cities and restaurants around, but was great to get my Starbucks fix right there and also nice gift shop.

Oh my goodness. What an amazing vacation. This hotel is tucked well off the beaten path which makes it very peaceful. Every staff member we encountered throughout our stay welcomed us and asked if there were anything they could do to make our stay better. Great walking trails, good food. Just an overall awesome experience. Would definitely recommend it.
