You do hear people on the top floor at all different hours.....but I had to be on the bottom floor... the room (#106) was great.....double beds....very clean.....huge TV with good sound...2 HBO channels...located in back next to the pool so basically quiet cuz of the cooler weather.....there are no 'do not disturb' tags so i made my own as i was there for a week and wanted quiet time......they were great....i left my used towels outside the door and my trash can which were taken super fast and the front desk people are all so kind and helpful providing me fresh towels etc.....i stay here everytime i come visit the area....reasonable but yes a lot higher than years before.... Will stay again for sure.
the young people at the front desk have been so caring and helpful. We are two old folks traveling and are not technically inclined and the guy in the morning assisted in extending our stay and the girl the night before was great at recommending places to eat and also explaining what I needed to do the next morning to extend stay with the office.... The room is so very-very clean.......beds firm but comfy, the only complaint I have is that the toilets are very-very low to the ground, which is hard for partially handicapped people... this was in room 106 that I'm referring to. But everything else is fantastic..... I have stayed here over the years when I come to Goleta and it seems even better now.

There were a lot of construction workers on long term stay there. They were very loud in the evening in the pool area. Also, room 241 was infested w/ bugs. I left a day early as a result. Manager was not able to empathize with me. He Said his hands were “tied” that this was a “budget” hotel and “what did I expect”. They did refund me though for the day I left so I was grateful for that. I will not choose to stay here again.

This is a motel not a hotel. It was clean, small but everything we needed for a nights stay. The front desk staff was very friendly.
Was close to food drink grocery spots.
Just an overnight stay to catch an early flight out. Had reserved months before asking for first floor due to physical issues (not handicapped, though) but only had second floor on arrival. Getting luggage up and down the stairs was painful. No toiletries in the room except hand soaps, so bring your own. A/C struggled to cool adequately. But the room was clean and quiet. Negatives were really just annoyances and not issues.
I love the location, the bedding was really nice and the room was very clean. I wonder if the floor was mopped? Just noticed dirt on my feet from walking on the floor barefoot (probably TMI).
