Room had a horrible musty smell likely related to the AC/heating unit. Gave me a headache and had to wash everything when I got home. That said, check in was easy and location is good.

The price for the room was good. The A/C didn’t work. The water pressure was very low in the sink faucet. The bathroom was poorly designed; there was wasted space that could have been used as shelving , storage of some type, and the shower curtains allowed the floor to get totally wet. The toilet flushed like a champ though.

Room 323 had roaches (in different sizes). Moved to another hotel even though I had already paid for two nights. Did not see them until returning late that night....

Convenient to the freeway, quiet and close to town

I requested an early check in and arrived an hour earlier than requested/expected and they still were able to accommodate me (with a smile). Room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Nice property, plenty of parking and a very inviting pool. Only drawback is that the hotel is close to a busy freeway, but with door closed you cannot hear the noise. Overall a very good stay. Thank you

Sleeping on the bed was like sleeping on a box spring. My husband did not sleep for two nights and ended up spending the third night sleeping in our truck rental. I had to purchase bedding so he could sleep in the truck The towels were too small, barely big enough for a small child. My 6 foot four husband needed something much larger and they were were only two small bath towels in the room. The bathmat was so small that there was no way to dry off after the shower thought getting the wood floors dirt The bathmat was so small that there was no way to dry off after the shower thought getting the wood floors wet. The shower was barely big enough for him to fit in and only had a cloth shower curtain that barely kept the water from the floor.

. .

Not the best, old and not the cleanest. I would not recommend.

Nothing nice to say. Infested with roaches. Rooms were dirty and smelled.

We use this hotel when we send our employees to work up in the area. Always accommodating and nice hotel.

This is a great option if you want to be close to Santa Barbara and not pay 300-500 dollars for a motel/hotel. This Motel is located close to a 7-11 for any last minute needs and coffee, snacks and cheap gas as well. A mile away is Carpenteria a quaint little town with a great bakery/ coffee shop crushcakes and plenty of friendly people. Travis the front desk manager? was phenomenal handing 3 to 4 guests at a time with different needs and he did it professionally and patiently. I will stay here again and again because of these reasons. Well Done!

Location: Very convenient right off the highway and feels safe Staff: Front desk was a bit confused that I already paid at Orbitz, but was very helpful. Housekeeping wanted to check the room out at 9 am. I was sleeping and this was not really necessary before 11 am. Room: Modern, clean, bare essentials. Comfy. Good layout. Parking: Free Overall: Good value. I'd stay here again. Took an Uber to go to DT Santa Barbara. It was about 11 minute ride.

Snotty kid at front desk. Asked him for a room at the back, away from the street noise. So he said he would give me a room on the pool side -- but actually put me on the front corner of the property where there is lots of street noise. And bright lights through the inadequate curtains all night. Poor shower. No Kleenex in the room. AVOID!!! Grossly overpriced for what you get.

Hotel very close to the beach and very close to Santa Barbara.

Okay, everyone knows that Santa Barbara is expensive! I have been to many Motel 6's and generally the experiences have been good, you get what you pay for right! This hotel was run down, I would say it was clean, BUT, the hotel room smelled like a person had snuck in and taken a dump in the toilet before I opened the door. The smell wouldn't really go away. The shower was horrible, the hot water went from cold to hot. The mattress was like sleeping on a thin piece of foam laid on top of an uneven surface. The two pillows were more like two small bags with a rag in it! Time that this place closed down for a full refurbish. This is way below the Motel 6 standard one would expect. Which isn't 4-5 stars. I give this a one star just because the hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
