The grounds were dirty. The floor just inside a ground-floor entrance needed a good scrubbing, and there was trash and other debris scattered along the outside walkway. Does anyone have a leaf blower and a power washer? Nor had corporate updated the website to indicate that the complimentary breakfast had disappeared, even though that change had occurred weeks earlier. On the flip side, the front desk manager, Parker, was very pleasant and helpful.

Welcoming and great staff. Room was comfortable and amenities good. Convenient

Price is very reasonable. Staff is accommodating & courteous. Room could have been kept much cleaner. Security is needed to watch the other guests who were loud & rowdy in the middle of the night.

Nice stay, room very acceptable and reasonable priced, area quite and perfect; and has a small Restraunt in front

I was nervous to stay at hotels again after being in quarantine for so long but this place quickly made me feel at ease. The room was incredibly clean. I appreciated the comfortable bed, ocean view balcony, and working fridge/freezer. Parker, the man at the front desk, was very friendly and helpful at recommending the closest gas stations. I love how close this to the beach, just a seven minute walk or so across the street. The elephant seal vista point is also a quick drive away along with Hearst Castle, Moonstone Beach, and San Simeon State Park. I will be back! Thanks so much!

The staff was really nice. But our room smelled like pee, so I bought fabreeze and sprayed. This helped the smell. We were only there for 1 night so I didn't complain to staff. The rug in our room looked like it needed to be cleaned. On the side by the window there was an area that was sticky.

Fairly priced. Great location if you are visiting the Bug Sur area. Rooms are a little outdated but you can’t bear the price. Hot tub was nice and indoors. I also had an ocean view which was nice

The hotel and the service was ok, but they debited the amount for the room twice and the was no reaction to my request

I liked everything about our stay here. It was clean, the staff was great, very pleasant and very responsive/accommodating. I'll definitely satay there again.

Great value and close to the beach. Clean and good conditions.

The only thing that I liked about the property is that it’s close to Hearst Castle. I am very disappointed about the condition of the place. This place needs to be torn down and rebuilt. The moment you walk in the room, you’ll see the un-evenness of the bed. That means the mattress is old and the box spring is making noise as you sit on the bed. There is a sign of Laundry Room. Tried to use my hotel key it wouldn’t work until my daughter found another room with a sign of “Guest Laundry “. Why didn’t they put a sign as “Staff” for the one that is visible and it’s at the Hallway? Other than me, there’s a guest that was trying to open the laundry room too and I told him about it. I guess when he saw the condition of the machines, got sad and said never mind!😂😂😂 The machine makes too much noise that you can hear the washer from afar. It’s so called “FREE BREAKFAST”, no hot breakfast at all! That is the saddest part. The only hot is the Hot water and the regular coffee. Bread- 3 kinds alright BUT there are White, Wheat and Cinnamon Raisin. Cereal- Raisin Bran and Frosted Flakes. Creamer- Half and Half. No flavored creamers. Plates, utensils and napkins. All from 99 cents store that you cannot even spread the butter because the knives bends. Will I come back? Answer is NO.

Staff there was very friendly Rooms need desperate updating. Very old and dingy

You kind of know what to expect when booking a Day’s Inn. This one has an excellent location but is fairly run down, no working WiFi despite it be advertised as such. Overpriced for being below my already low expectations for a Day’s Inn. I would expect to pay less than $100 for this property. They are living off their proximity to Route 1 and the Elephant Seal rookery.

The breakfast was minimal. The location was good.

It was right across from beach with good food and right off freeway. The room was not clean. There was dust in room and food left in microwave. Additionally, there was food and dirt under the bed.

Shower curtain rod broken. Dirty bathroom ledges. Front desk person would acknowledge my presence even thought i was the only person in the room.

Location, short drive to beach and Hearst castle. Lots of parking restaurant next door to property.

I like clean room and close to Heast castle!!!!!!!

I liked that it was very close to Hearts Castle and Moonstone beach. However, the room was a hassle. Floor had carpet with rips in it, bathtub did not work (water took forever to drain), sheets were dirty and smelled, continental breakfast consisted of toast and cereal. You definitely get what you pay for. Do not expect any sort of luxury or accommodation.
