My wife and I have been staying at this property over the Labor Day weekend for the past 17 years to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Some renovations have been made. However the beds are the worst we have ever slept on.

Hotel needs a complete renovation

Poor facilities, terrible beds and pillows, dirty floors and carpets, no breakfast facilities, generally a big disappointment at a high price...

Nice location. The room was clean and was a good size. We would have liked to have stayed an extra night but the price was more than we had originally paid.

The room was decorated nice and employees where nice. Wasn't the cleanest for the price. Had a very small heater that couldn't hear up the room. The jacuzzi looked like it hasn't worked in years. I wouldn't recommend this place for the price. It was 200$ a night. I think it should have been 100$

Loved it! Great Room, service and view! I would definitely stay again.

Nice location, clean rooms. The outside is a bit dingy though, the rails are all chipping away and there's carpet on the outside stairways which attracts plenty of debris. It's unappealing. They have really thin walls, I heard the children next door running and screaming one night and some love sounds the next. Not okay when I have my child next to me wondering what's happening. On the third day of stay there was no water running and there was no warning they claimed they had an emergency. They did however, offer another room which was an upgrade and I had a view of the bay and a fireplace which I appreciated and from there on I had a peaceful getaway.

Nice and quiet. Friendly service! Restaurant has really good food!

Martes a little too firm. More blankets would have been nice.

Fifteen years ago this place was 5-star looks and service, now it’s threadbare with a classless front desk staff.

Great views of the water from the property. Nice to have a cool bar and restaurant on site. Could use some freshening/updating but good for the price. And dog friendly!!👌👌

Check in was easy, price was excellent and it was rather slow so we got a free upgrade which made everything even better. Easy walk to town.

It was fine. The setting is lovely. There’s a restaurant on the property, which has reasonably good food and slow, friendly service. The room was unusually small but clean. The rug was stained and other little things were a bit off. Overall, ok but nothing extraordinary.

Booked 7 months ahead bc it was a graduation weekend in SLO but they didn't have our double queen bed room when we arrived? They gave us a King w fireplace that had a good enough view but daughter is a crazy sleeper so I didn't get much rest. No soap/shampoo, coffee condis in room and limited towels, pillows. Exactly two of everything. Seemed "scant" for this classic and not cheap hotel. Great parking. HH 2-6 daily, didn't eat dinner there but menu looked decent.

Everything was great, super convenient and wonderful staff

Very pleasant location but a bit costly for what they provide.

We stayed st this property s few years ago so thought we’d stay again. The property is run down and could use an update. Also, the evening staff at the front desk was rude. Apparently they don’t need the business.

Very nice, reasonable hotel in a great location. Nie restaurant with a great view, as well.

We have been staying at this hotel every Labor Day weekend for the past 13 years to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It seem like the rooms we book are a little bit worse for wear every year. The bar and restaurant were remodeled a few years ago and now is the time to bring the rest of the hotel up to date.

I had no idea this hotel even existed! We arrived into town in the morning, and they were able to check us in by 1pm. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, and we had a huge balcony overlooking the pool. It wasn't technically an ocean view, but we could see the ocean and had a perfect view of the sunset. We had a King room, which was very big. The room was clean, bathroom was clean but small, ample parking area, wonderful restaurant and sitting area in hotel lobby.
