Stayed here on the way home from camping. Clean, affordable vintage but noisy.

Our room was in old part of hotel. It was clean and bed comfortable, but needs updating. Furniture old. Courtyard outside was dirty and doors and hallways need painted. Staff very nice. Recommend staying in new section.

We stayed in the updated new part of the hotel in tower building. Nice spacious rooms, clean.

Very nice place for a great weekend away for wine tasting. Lobby coffee shop has the best pastries. And loved the downstairs bar that turns into a locals hangout at night.

Neglected hotel. Dirty dishes from room next door sat out in the courtyard all night. Terrible pillows. Poor placement of electrical outlets. Difficult to work in the room. Dirty walls.

Facilities are too old...definitely not a 3+ Star hotel

Do NOT accept a room in the old part of this hotel, it has the feel of a flop-house. Although this may be an historic property, it has been so neglected that is it beyond shabby. From the lobby to the rooms, the entire property is dilapidated and neglected. There is so much deferred maintenance, it's shameful. Not one piece of furniture matches anything, the hotel is dirty. There is a weird enclosed patio type thing running the length of the front facade. It is jammed on both sides with mismatched furniture. Absolutely no rhyme or reason. The paint is chipped, the carpets are filthy, the walls are paper thin, the bathrooms are small with no room for toiletries, plus they just don't function. The whole place smells musty. This is a pet-friendly hotel, but I wouldn't bring my dog here, for fear he would get fleas! The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. The pool and grounds are quite lovely, but the hotel itself is disgusting.

Overnight stay on a long trip. The Inn is charming and the staff is excellent. My room was a little rundown, but very clean. I will definitely stay here again.

Checked in was smooth. Room assigned to me was in the old section. Room was charming, but extremely worn and in the back of the hotel. Called the desk and they moved me over to the newer tower. Room was spacious and very clean. Service was excellent, and the meal I ordered was delivered promptly, hot, tasty and complete. I will stay here again!

I loved staying here. Everybody was so nice and helpful. The hotel is just absolutely beautiful!

The hotel has old and new parts which blend together nicely. The bed was extremely comfortable , the room spacious, the pool was nice. Room was very clean and very quiet during the night, unlike some noisy hotels. Staff was accommodating and helpful.

Wish more places were like this hotel. Amazing staff and room.

I have stayed here on a few occasions for an annual reunion. I stayed in the older/historic section of the hotel. There is plenty of parking, which includes a parking structure. It is close to various eating and shopping amenities. I usually stay here because part of our reunion would be held here. Since it no longer utilizes the facilities, I will probably stay at one of the newer hotels in the area. I like to walk and the surrounding neighborhood is really run down and I do not feel safe walking.

We stayed in the "old" section and the whole place had a very unpleasant musty smell. Maybe the carpets need to be replaced? It was tolerable for the one night but I would now always ask to be in the NEW section. The room was small but otherwise fine.

This charming hotel had old fashioned touches throughout including that attention to detail and great service you don't find at other hotels in this price range these days. The restaurant brunch was very good and the grounds are lovely.

Stayed at hotel one night on the way to Santa Barbara. Came late at night, but stuff was very supportive and room ready. Room itself was very clean, large (we stayed in the tower), beds comfortable. Very satisfied.

I've stayed here many times before. This is always my first choice while in Santa Maria.

Really unique place with clean fluffy bedding and pillows. Bar and restaurant have lots of ambiance. If we had to return to Santa Maria we would return to this hotel. Only small issue was lack of black out curtains. Light came blasting in like a spot light alarm clock. It's nice if you need to be up early so if not bring an eye mask.

staff is always great, rooms are very clean and well set up for business travelers. The garden is a great place to unwind in the evening.

This hotel is a great historic hotel. It feels like you step back in time when you enter the lobby. The rooms are comfortable, nothing fancy, but comfortable nonetheless. The location is just ok as the high school is across the street and the neighborhood behind it is less than desirable. The hotel itself is safe, but I wouldn't recommend walking outside late at night.
