Check in did not like the attitude of the check in person , not friendly

The pool was closed because the pump overheated. The ac was loud and the “queen” beds seem a lot smaller and not comfortable at all. The rooms are average. I would compare them to the cheaper hotels. Total meh. Not worth the price and status of double tree unfortunately.

The staff are friendly and the building is in great shape. And the parking is gated! The location is great for shopping at La Cantera!!!!!

Comfy beds, super clean, friendly staff, delicious breakfast !! Highly recommend. Would be great if you incorporate a coffee station in your lobby.

Great staff, amazing beds and super clean! Highly recommend ✔️

Close to Six flags and shopping centers is what I liked, what I didn’t like was it us under renovations could not use the main entrance and the pool.

A/C was so loud it kept us awake! Remodel may be nice when done but probably won’t plan to stay again!

We didn’t realize the property was being renovated and the main reception entry was fenced and under construction. We thought the hotel was closed but happened to see a small unlit sign saying temporary reception entrance on the end of the building. We were in newly renovated floor and had A/C but public spaces on floor were warm. Fire alarm went off at around 5:25 in the morning. Made it down stairs when a person told us it was a false alarm.

Great hotel location! Close to several shopping centers including la Cantera mall

Nice hotel . Love the staff close to UTSA . Will always use when in San Antonio

Nice hotel close to UTSA. The staff was very friendly.

Had an overall good experience staff was nice and helpful

The front desk staff was great, the service staff a bit disappointed as non of them spoke English. In the room: 1. the tub had no slip mat, so it was super slippery when showering to the point that one hand had to be holding on to the rain, 2. The sink faucet would always get clogged. 3. We had made arrangement to have a late check out (1pm) but when we came back at 11am, the cleaning staff was already in the room cleaning (even though we had the do not disturb sign up) and had disposed of all of our food/ drinks in the fridge.

This was my 2nd time staying at the Wyndham Garden in SA. The first time was back in March 2018 for spring break. The staff is incredibly friendly! The pool is clean and the outside area is nice. My room was spacious with plenty of towels. The staff gave us more towels when we were swimming. Super close to great eats, six flags and only 20 minutes or so from Downtown SA. Parking is great! When we go to San Antonio, we will always make sure we check availability for Wyndham Garden before staying anywhere else.

It’s was very clean and wonderful. The shower was real nice and the pillows very comfortable.

As a couple, we got a king-sized bed. The bathroom couldn't fit two people at the same time as the large door had to be opened all the way to get to the sink, but doing so completely blocked the shower stall door. The bathroom WAS nice, but the sink/counter had only about 8 inches to the right of the sink, and about 5 or so to the left. Need to keep half of our toiletries in the wardrobe. It was CLEAN and pleasant, just not big enough for two folks to move in and out of. The rest of the room was quite nice, spacious, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. We didn't use any housekeeping services as we only stayed a 2 nights, so we can't speak on that. No included breakfast, but there is a buffet for $11.....they cook up eggs/omelettes to order, along with breakfast potatoes and sausage links. However, they had no non-fat dairy options, nor any sort of juice save for orange juice. No waffles/waffle station. The breakfast options at the neighboring What-A-Burger were cheaper, warmer, and required no tipping. The room/hallway was nice and quiet, even though our room was right by the elevators. We saw very few children there, or large families. That may be due to the higher cost of the hotel compared to very close competitors.

They were having issues with their system or another guests checkin which took about 30 minutes to clear up. The facility is nice and the rooms are clean. The beds are a little hard for my taste. Big TV's in the suites. Big bathrooms also. We took advantage of their 5-7 happy hour as well :)
