The front desk clerk was very kind and personable. Check in was easy and the hotel looked nice from the outside. Inside it smelled like old cigarette smoke and the room was very dingy. I know we stayed in a pet room but there were pet stains on the carpet, my comforter which was the only blanket had crusty brown stain on it and the bathroom had A LOT of hair in the tub. On the floor there was a used elastic hair tie that was not mine. It was too late to get a different hotel or we would not have stayed

The room was not as described in many ways; The deluxe room write up stated it had a fireplace and separate sitting area and that all rooms are oversized, while in fact there was no fireplace, no separate sitting area, and only an average sized room with one chair at the desk. The carpets were dirty and stained, the tv was small, the room was dark with burnt out bulbs, there were stains on the wall by the bathroom mirror. Breakfast was ok, but no fruit and creamer for coffee was powdered.

I was impressed with room . The room was big had a nice window view. The bed was decent . The pool was nice. The only thing was the breakfast . Not much to pick from . Overall I would stay again . It was the perfect spot to hit all the surrounding areas for visiting.

Great value; poor breakfast compared to other

A nice little hotel at a great price. We stayed here two separate nights before/after flying into Rapid City. Very easy route to get here and then back into the Black Hills. It is a little dated but comfortable. The breakfast was a disappointment but sufficient. My wife brought her own for our second stay since we knew.

The property area was not that bad. It was the attendant behind the desk that was deplorable. She asked for $100 deposit when I arrived. Never told me that $10 would be deducted everyday. I asked her about it she became very rude. I don’t know if. He has mental issues. It was the same person that greeted me when I checked in and out . I arrived at 1145 am however I was aware that check in time is 3pm. I waited I was checked in at 205pm . Not a great experience

The feont staff was polite and helpful. The fault is that the hotel owner does not follow ADA law. They require service dogs to reside in a "pet room" which was unavailable and thus they declined the reservation. If you have a service dog do not reserve a room here.
