Great location for Badlands NP.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness of our room was unsatisfactory. The bedspread was unlaundered, there was soiled very old carpet, and there were many flies in the room. The local economy as well as the hard living conditions in this area, as well as the pandemic are surely impacting this small family owned business. I do not wish to cause any misfortune, only hope to inform the owners on what to improve upon. They did offer to change out the bedspreads, but did not offer a return on the fee. We decided to drive home and cut our losses.
We had the two bedroom suite in the motel, which was very spacious and had a great common space. The location in terms of proximity to the Badlands can’t be beat!
Older but nice place to stay.
Proximity to Badlands National Park makes it a prime jumping off point to explore the park, especially early or late in the day to see more wildlife. Don’t pass on dinner at the Cowboy Corner gas station just up the road. Grandma Sue cooks one main menu item per day. The Saturday prime rib was melt in your mouth good.
The staff was awesome! The staff accommodated our late arrival even though they had already left for the day. The area is very convenient to the Badlands. Beautiful scenery all around.
Love the flexibility for late check in. Great business and great location. Highly recommended.
It was a great place for a bed right next to the Badlands. Folks were nice and besides the motel a nice campground.
Great place to stay. The location was excellent. The staff was very friendly. Convenience store nearby.
The place hadn't been renovated since the sixties. The fabric of the sofa bed was falling into pieces. The room had a very strong smell. The whole feeling was of neglect, and it was the most expensive hotel of our entire trip. No free breakfast.
It was very convenient to the National badlands park. It was quiet and comfortable. It didn't have a free breakfast.
This property was an excellent choice for our vacation. In addition to being super close to the badlands, the owners were wonderful people. I was able to annoy them with tons of questions and they always answered with a smile. The view from the hotel was breathtaking. And the guests were kind and shared conversation openly. I would absolutely love to return to this property in the future.
Quint place to stay with great views. Nice, clean place.
Great location. Simple, clean, comfortable. Restaurant was great. Has a small general store. Staff was excellent

We are sorry for any inconvenience. We appreciate your feedback. We did check the bed spread and the room and found a small paint spot and a small rust stain due to the hard water conditions here. I believe you tried to cancel the room the day before within the 48 hr notice
