Our room was very clean and nicely updated. The beds are very comfortable and the linens are very nice, for well and very good quality. Where is that much worse than sheets that come off as soon as you get into bed and are extremely thin and poor quality. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

surprised in Wall SD

This was a charming king size room in the small town of Wall. very pleasant and dog friendly. Fresh fruit portioned out and good coffee for breakfast. the town has a couple of cute restaurants also. Laundromat next door!

Great place to stay

The hotel is older but very nicely updated/remodeled. The beds are very comfy and the rooms are clean. I was VERY impressed with the continental breakfast. Lots of options including fresh berries. Would definitely stay here again!

The room itself was nice, the bedding very upscale and comfortable. TV remote didn’t work but front desk replaced the batteries for us. The two big negatives were the water never got warm so showers were almost impossible. Plus, there is no sound proofing between floors. Woken up at 4:45 from the people above us with the walking around the room going on for hours. No sleep!

I'm a senior traveling with 3 other seniors. There was no elevator and we were placed on the second floor. They had rooms on the first floor but we were told because I had booked through Expedia and got a good rate. We would need to pay $50 -$60 more per room to stay on the first floor. Stairs to second floor were discussing. Bathroom floor was nasty. I showered with my sandals on. Breakfast was decent. I would not recommend this place. Linda

The rooms are renovated and clean—which is a big plus. The “Rustic Rooms” are nice—stylish rough-hewn wood decor. The grounds and exterior and surroundings are rather bleak. Pool is decent though it might help if they landscaped a bit, as surrounding parking lot isn’t pretty. Not trying very hard here. Breakfast is very limited. The option of cereal would have been fine, but they were out of milk. I asked about it, and the attendant said they “ran out yesterday.” (?) If they ran out they day before, that would give them plenty of time to buy some more, especially since there’s a supermarket two doors down. This is one of those low-end chain hotels where they simply do not try very hard or care very much. Fine to stay here if you get a good rate, but we had to pay high-season rates—and for that, we expected much better.
