Loved the location in Hill City and so close to Custer Park and Mount Rushmore. Loved my Row Cabin

Worst place we’ve ever stayed. I stay around 100 nights a year for work. This was a vacation trip and booked online looking for a cabin in the mountains. Air conditioning didn’t work properly. Water was a slow stream so couldn’t take a shower. Toilet took forever to refill because of lack of pressure. Bed was not comfortable all.

beautiful setting and close to attractions. friendly people in lodge and restaurant

We had our grandsons along and this was a perfect arrangement. There is hiking, fishing, horseback riding, swimming pool s, food, and in the beautiful woods of the black hills. You must do the horse drawn cart ride and dinner show.

Proximity to Rushmore and crazy horse was ideal! Setting was spectacular. Place was very quiet and relaxing. The restaurant and bar were quality with nice food and friendly guests.

Located close to Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse. Room was average size, clean, and all facilities worked. No refrigerator in room, however. This room had a balcony with chairs that overlooked a grassy play area and a few cabins, a very nice view. I left the windows open all night and was never bothered by noise from the campground or the road. The campground store is a short walk away and very well stocked. The cost of the room was very reasonable. Overall, this was a most excellent place to stay.

The Lodge is located within a KOA camp grounds, and very close to Mt Rushmore and other Black Hills attractions, which is what drew us to this property. On checking in we were greeted by unsmiling staff who went through the motions. Our room was on the first floor not too far from the front desk. If you love other folks' screaming children and 'stampeding buffalo' sounds above your head, and undertrained desk staff, this hotel is for you. Unfortunately that is not our thing; we prefer relative quiet conducive to sleep so we can be well rested for driving the tight turns of the area for sight seeing.

Lodge and resort facilities were outstanding . We hiked, went to Mount Rushmore and enjoyed the evening campfire and guitar player. Ate in the restaurant and food was excellent. Will definately come back.
