The hotel was fine, but we had difficulty checking in. Apparently, Orbitz did not do its job in our booking of this hotel; therefore, the hotel did not have record of our booking. We had to call Orbitz upon our arrival and it took some time and frustration before we could check in. It's not the hotel's fault, but Orbitz did not do what it's supposed to do.

The property was wonderful. I loved everything about it.

property was very nice and just what we needed after a long day of travel. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Amazing thank you

I thoight the location was great. The little town was fun. Not much around in the off season, but fun.

The location is great for Mt Rushmore, the Black Hills and Custer State Park. We were there during the COVID and do there were extenuating circumstances and we maybe didn’t see them at their best but it was a trip with other stops and this was the least impressive performance. Things were clean and as I said above it was close to much.

Super 8 quality at triple the price! The location was quite convenient and the staff was friendly. However, there were many negatives. A prior guest left a dirty sock on the floor and housekeeping never removed it, making us question their overall cleaning. The bathtub faucet trickled water continually all week and housekeeping never requested maintenance address that either. (We submitted a maintenance request when we left.) The breakfast buffet had no cereal, pastries or bread all week, just scrambled eggs and sausage links every day. WiFi was so slow as to be unusable (think 1998 speeds). Parking was inadequate, filling almost every night. The sofa sleeper was horribly uncomfortable. Most employees wore no masks, none wore gloves, and they made everyone sign paper forms at check-in without sanitizing pens, like COVID-19 doesn’t exist! Lots and lots of negatives for a place charging over $200 per night...

Very clean and staff is very attentive. The breakfast was very good and super close to Mount Rushmore. Convenient. I would definitely come back to this location

I loved the lobby the most. It made me feel just liked I stepped into the old west and the prairie of SD. The theme of the lobby and the décor made the West come alive. The manager, Robert was awesome!

Nice right on the way to MT. Rushmore... had some issues with keys...that was resolved before it became a burden

Lovely hotel in a wonderful location which allowed us to go easily to where we wanted to go.
