Nice room conveniently located near area attractions
The room and hallways did not smell of smoking. The breakfast left a little bit to be desired, but served its purpose. The motel was centered around most of the sites we wanted to see. The facility helped give us a great vacation.
Great experience!
Very dirty carpet in which can’t keep feet down. Soiled linens (in both beds !) which seemed liked have not been changed for a while Bathroom was in horrible condition With my 19 years of extensive traveling the entire east and west coast this was the first miserable experience. Whoever is giving them good score is LYING. PLEASE AVOID or you will regret too
For Rushmore Inn being an older hotel our family suite was amazing.
We got the "luxury" spa-tub room and it was gross. The shower curtain was stained pink with mold and the spa-tub was plugged up with hair. We got 2 thread-bare towels, a floor mat and no wash clothes. When the obvious stuff is that neglected, we spent the night itching to leave rather than relaxing.
The family suites with bunk beds were awesome and very spacious.
Was not very clean and smelled bad. Very friendly staff though.
We stayed in a room with a king bed and bunk beds. We had 4 people and a toddler staying. We were provided one washcloth and towels weren’t replenished on subsequent days. We had to ask for soap, washcloths, towels and coffee as only decaf was in the room. There was hair on the wall of the shower before any of us used it (plus it was a dark hair and no one in our group had that color of hair). Most of this is a nuisance more than anything but considering the price compared to other hotels in town I wouldn’t choose this again.
We booked this hotel based on location and availability. Location is great. Right next to restaurants and close to Mt. Rushmore. The rooms really need to be updated. My daughter found two bugs. Even though there was parking right outside our room, I wasn't allowed to park there because it was saved for motorcycles. I appreciated the effort to still provide breakfast during covid.
Loved the location near restaurants, shopping and zipline. Beds were comfortable, but blood stain on boxspring. Breakfast was an hour and a half late on first night there. Indoor pool was not heated. Hot tub was great.
Property isn't new but comfy. Staff was friendly, location was short walking distance from the strip. Can see Mount Rushmore a block and a half away from the hotel. No maids available during your stay due to the pandemic so be prepared to make your own bed.
Tiny TV, limited amenities. Quality and variety of breakfast items poor.
The rooms were very spacious and clean! Many amenities on the property which were conveniently located and clean. The hotel was centrally located for easy access to many sites (2 miles from Mount Rushmore) and a very short drive to Custer Park and Crazy Horse Monument. The hotel was a short walk to the town of Keystone to enjoy the shops and restaurants. The hotel continental breakfast was a bonus with many options for all of our family. The staff was very friendly and accommodating! A wonderful experience and place to stay during our vacation. Highly recommend!
Very nice room great place to stay but the breakfast sucks needs to be better
Large wet spot on carpet which turned out to be coffee from cleaning crew. Was not comped or asked to change rooms. They brought in a big fan and it was so loud could not stay in room when running. Went in for continental breakfast at 8 AM and hardly anything there to eat!! No pastries, no bread, no fruit, just oatmeal, cereal and waffles. Next morning had to go to office area for coffee because maid service did not replace cream and sugar! Little furniture in room. Mini refrigerator on floor and microwave on top of it.
