Great view outside.Clean and safe.

The property was very basic. The room small. The inside hottub wall was filthy. The inside wall pool wall was filthy. Other than that, just a basic motel.

Wow! This room and location were ideal to Mt. Rushmore. Even though our room was a bit small, customer service was quick and easy as well as the ambience was similar to a resort in a ski resort. Definitely will be going back.

Proximity to town and historic sites. Room was small, but otherwise met our needs.

This hotel was overall okay. The property is an older hotel and it shows. They are working on it and the exterior looks to have been recently painted. The rooms are relatively small in comparison to other hotels. The breakfast was not well stocked for the amount of people staying at the property or arranged in an order that would invite a smooth sequence, people had to jump in at different points making others upset just to get their complete breakfast. It was short on variety as well, for example cereal, the two they had was Frosted Flakes and Fruit Loops neither would be what most adults would prefer. There also was no tea. Another point, you have some 300 rooms and one lady maintaining the Breakfast room on a Saturday. All of these topics hurt the presentation of the stay. The area was great and I would recommend that. Be sure to visit the Bad Lands as well.

Liked the location and staff Didn’t like all the kids allowed in the hot tub until 10pm Ripped curtain

Nice location

We liked the convenience of the location to Mount Rushmore and the scenery! The pool and pool area was great for the kids. The staff was friendly. After 2 weeks of road travel with the family, basically all hotels in the west seem understaffed, the breakfast ain't never what i'twas before COVID, but it you'll get a reasonable grab and go and their supply was always sufficient. Considering this is a very, very well travelled tourist attraction, the hotel is a reasonable good deal. Like the other hotels, they will need to recover from covid by building up their staff.

The property was very close to Mt. Rushmore and restaurants around the area. The room was very small.

staff were all very courteous and helpful thank you

The hotel is conveniently located less than 10 mins away from Mount Rushmore monument, rooms were clean and parking is free. But the hotel is old not too well kept, walls are yellowish, the pool area didn't look clean at all and the rooms were small as a family of 4 we were cramped. Breakfast was very simple, not a large variety. Our biggest disappointment was the fact that we stayed one night and paid Orbitz directly and the hotel recharged the full amount again to our incidentals credit card. Double payment and now we are getting ignored by the hotel for our refund and having to file dispute claims with our credit card company.

Too expensive. It was like a super 8 motel. Very dissatisfied

.

this property needs alot of upgrading. it was not worth the price i paid for it. the only reason it was high was because of the location

The pool was gross and needs updatibg. Front desk staff hardly took the time to greet you & didn't provide any useful information such as where to park, where the room, elevators or vending is located. And the breakfast was underwhelming, granola bar, apple, muffin & water.

Tried to check in twice (well after check-in time) and the room wasn’t ready. Breakfast was a muffin, bottle of water and small apple. I thought it was difficult to find the entrance to the hotel from the direction we came. Signage could have been better. All we could see was it sitting in the hill.
