There was a lot of construction happening and even the staff wasn’t made aware things would be closed from what it sounded like. The workers doing the work on the hotel was rude and made our family uncomfortable.
Hotel was ok, my room was clean, they need to get better with greeting, I got there at 11pm to check in and I was in the line for 10 minutes, no one said good evening, or I’ll be right there with you, the 2 people that were working that night just stayed there quiet, one of them taking care of the line and the other one just standing there. The next day in the morning again no no one says good morning or anything. The only people that were nice to us were in the breakfast room, but No in the front desk.
Provided us a good place to stay while visiting NYC.
This was an amazing jumping off spot for us while we toured New York City. It was affordable, easy to get to, and only a train ride away from the city. I’d definitely stay here again any time we visit NYC. We love that free parking and breakfast made the trip even more economical for us.
Nice hotel. Looks like it might have had a remodel. Lobby looks new but the rooms seem older. Red Robin is connected to the hotel! Would stay here again.

Pool area was great. Breakfast is free. Staff was polite and friendly.
Convenient and great price.
There was no hot water. The shower was cold. The sink was clogged up. The pool was not available a month ago when I was first going to stay. An entire month later the pool was still "not fixed". Please take it off your amenities if you don't plan on fixing it. Maybe that's not a big deal for most, but when you just want a day away, the pool is exciting.
Once we finally found a person for the front desk we were given a room that was not yet cleaned. After getting back to the front desk we had to wait for another room. We arrived 3 hours after check-in so rooms should have been cleaned by then. On top of everything the pool was closed prior to the date posted and we didn’t receive notification of this change before arrival. The pool was the main decision for staying an extra night. Not worth the hassle staying here.
