The management is awful.
Nice place. Right on the beach
The mid-size pool was warm and pleasant. There were a lot of pool toys, which was nice. We stayed in an ocean front room with two queen beds and a murphy bed. The room had a microwave, full-size fridge, and most of the room had carpet. The bathroom vent was completely covered in dust. I have severe allergies and I had a difficult time breathing in the room. The beds were very firm (too firm for my husband even who loves firm mattresses). The fridge looked brand new and was a nice surprise. The ocean front balcony was pleasant and it was nice to sit outside after the kids went to bed. The Lido Cafe was insanely overpriced and the food was terrible. For three kids meals and one sandwich, the price after a tip was $70. My five year old had sliders and french fries. While she did eat the sliders, she complained about the french fries, stating "This restaurant does not know how to cook correctly." She wasn't wrong. The fries were undercooked, limp, and soggy. Save your money and walk to another restaurant.
Location can’t be beat, so close to the beach and boardwalk. Rooms are small but accommodating and clean enough for an older hotel. The pools were lovely. Maid service only provided clean linens but didn’t actually clean or make our beds. If staying in the lower level rooms it can be noisy from a thin ceiling and you can hear every step above you but that definitely didn’t ruin our stay. We really enjoyed it overall and would book again.
Property was fine. Nothing real fancy. Location is perfect which makes it worth the price.
The property is in a great location right off the boardwalk. It would be a great place to stay if it was maintained. Unfortunately it is dirty, the rooms have not been cared for and the manager is unaccommadating. We stayed in the 100 building which had a damp musty smell. There was a bucket of damp rid on the shelf of the closet. So they are aware of the problem but still rent out the rooms. When we asked the manager to change our room we were told there was nothing available and if we wanted to leave she would have no problem getting it rented out. Unfortunately everything was sold out and we were stuck. I highly recommend you seek other accommodations in Point Pleasant.
Decent hotel. Pool options were nice. Wish the hot tub bubbles would have worked. Also wish there was a coffee maker in the room.
no suitcase stand, had to ask for one. no side lights in room only overhead bright lights, (really bright)
I liked that they had an indoor pool in addition to thd e outdoor pools. It was helpful in the rain. A huge perk was having the Ice cream shop, bar & Lido deck for breakfast & lunches. It was also a block away ftom the boardwalk so uoi can walk & not have to pay for parking. Overall great experience.
1 star would be too generous. Multiple items broken. Cigarette butts on ground throughout property. Location is the only item that was a plus. Gym equipment old. Unvaccinated worker without a mask entered the room while we were occupying. Check in was a nightmare. Dated old beach hotel.
The cons: Was expecting a little better view of the ocean when I saw it was an oceanfront. It was more so a view of the pool and sand and a tiny view of the ocean. Next issue was the entire time we were there housekeeping didn’t come by once, so that meant for 4 days we had to use the same single garbage bag and same towels and washcloths. The beds were really really stiff and uncomfortable which was unpleasant. There was someone’s garbage still in the one room when we got there that we had to throw away. The pros: My kids loved having 3 pools to swim in. We loved being able to walk to the boardwalk and not paying ridiculous parking prices. It was nice being so close to the beach and not having to pay to get on. I’m not sure if I would stay here again though the cons kind of outweigh the pros.
I enjoyed my stay at White Sands. I love the many pools and how close it is to the beach.
Proximity to the beach is great. My room was satisfactory. Other people that I traveled with complained of dampness, mildew and mold in their rooms.
The indoor pool and hot tub was great, we had terrible weather and this was just perfect!!!!

I am sorry you were dissatisfied. We do strive to provide the best Jersey Shore experience. We did run into some challenges this year due to Covid and the lack of staff. I do hope you will come again,
